Free Music Review: As Good as a Regular Album? YES!!!

While this is in fact a collection of Green Day's B-sides, rarities, and covers, it isn't. Such collections can be sketchy and hit and miss at best. This however is most certainly not. The songs here are all strong and fit suprisingly well together. I'd compare it to a really unified mix-tape. Remember the rules of High Fidelity, start of great (Suffocate) and then step it up a notch (Desesitized), then take it down a notch (You Lied) so as not to peak to early, and I assume the rule is work towards a low point, but great nonetheless (I wanna be on TV) and then gradually climb towards the mind blowing finale (Ha Ha You're Dead). "Shenanigans" is the perfect follow-up to "International Superhits". While the latter contained frequently played radio hits, "Shenanigans" contains rarities and oddities that are nonetheless musically sound. I was also very impressed with Green Day's ability to create audio masterpieces, by which I mean songs making fun of dead people. (This was the theme of Celine Dion's entire third album.) "Shenanigans" has varied musical styles and flavors, which leaves the listener wondering, "Is this really Green Day?", and also, "What the hell is a 'Green Day'." All in all, a very solid album.Free Music Review: Rock on!

This is another great CD brought to you be Green Day. Some of the better songs include "Ha Ha Your Dead" and even the song that appeared on the Austin Powers movie.
This CD also has some of the funnier parts too such as "Don't want to fall in love" and "I want to be on TV".
This is some of the older Green Day before American Idiot. So if your just getting into them or want to know about the music they played before they were so big check out this CD.
I would suggest Ha Ha Your Dead as the first song you listen to if you enjoy Green Day's humor and the lyrics are just plain fun.

I love this CD very much that i listened to it everyday.When i'm bathing,I always sing all the song in the CD. i've heard the sale of this album is not encouraging.Try to promote this album worldwide.produce a video clip in MTV especially the song "Ha Ha U're Dead".The song is great.this album is not popular becuase there is no ad or commercial on TV.As Compare to the album Dookie,There lots of ad and commercials.Please dun let Greenday became an underground band.God bye .hope Greenday will release more album soon.e-mail me if there is a new and latest Greenday albumFree Music Review: ROCK ON!!!

Every fan of Green Day needs this cd. It has every thing we have come to expect out of Green Day. I am one of those physco collectors who wants everything that says Green Day on it. If you are like me, you probably bought this cd without evan conculting these reveiws. For the rest of you, this cd rocks. The heaviness of "Suffocate" mixed with the slower song "On the Wagon" is trully a experience. As for the new song "Ha Ha your Dead", you havent heard a song better then this in a long time. So do yourself a favor and buy thins cd. GREEN DAY ROCKS!!!
