Free Music Notes for ShenanigansFree Music Review: Shenanigans (a.k.a. awesome CD =) Hit: 5 Stars
This is one of the best Green Day CD's and overall one of the best CD's ever! The best tracks are Espionage (Track 6), Scumbag (Track 8), Tired Of Waiting For You (Track 9, which is originally by the band Kinks), and Ha Ha You're Dead (Track 14). The last track (Ha Ha You're Dead) is the by far the best track and one of my favorite songs. The cover and the inside artwork is amazing; the inside artwork is a collage of all of the Green Day albums since Dookie. Plus, Billie Joe Armstrong is REALLY cute, which to me is reason enough to buy the CD! :D
Free Music Review: great album but...... Hit: 5 Stars
Green Day fans need a new album badly! i've been waiting since Green Day's 2000 release "Warning" to get some new material. Being a major fan of the band for a few years this is new stuff for me on "shenanigans but not enough. The only new song on the record is "Ha Ha Your Dead", which to me is okay, it was nothing like "Suffocate" or " Outsider". Overall this album is good, but if your a recent fan, pick up your copy of: 1,039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, Kerplunk, International Superhits, and Shenanigans.
Free Music Review: Green Day does it again. Hit: 5 Stars
First of all, it's Green Day so this has to rule. Second of all, it isn't Warning or anything new by them.... I'm going to give this C.D. 5 stars, because Green Day has gotten away without recording any new albums in 3 years. Just think of how much money they're making WITHOUT TRYING!Anyways, any Green Day fan should pick this up and be very happy with this remarkable collection of B-Sides. They're all great songs and you don't have to spend a bunch of time or money hunting these songs down on other records. You can just buy this.
Free Music Review: One of my favorite CD's of all time Hit: 5 Stars
This is probably the best Green Day CD in my opinion, because the material and styles are so varied (there's even an entirely instrumental song on here "espionage" which is great)! I wholeheartedly recommend this album to anyone who is even mildly interested in Green Day's music. I would also recommend International Superhits, which contains many well known hits; this album is more B-Sides but still fabulous nonetheless. I recommend this CD instead of their new one, which totally deviates from the style they worked so long to perfect.
Free Music Review: Pop-Punk at its best Hit: 5 Stars
I've only liked Green Day for about a month, but they're arguably the best punk band I've ever heard. They rank up in the top along with Sum 41, Blink 182 and Descendents. Shenanigans was the second one I bought, and I was happy at the awesome sounds that these guys come up with. The best song is definitely "You Lied", and "Espionage" is also good. If you haven't heard Green Day yet (which is hard to believe because their "American Idiot" video is all over MTV), be sure to check em out.
