Free Music Notes for Firefly (Original Television Soundtrack)Free Music Review: Firefly Hit: 5 StarsExcellent series with few coming close or even equal. And a movie to boot.
Free Music Review: Firefly Soundtrack- Great! Hit: 5 StarsThis is a truly great soundtrack, the mixture of eastern and western music, provided this show with the truly perfect compliment. A show this good needed a soundtrack to keep up with it, and that it does, the music not only compliments the show extremely well, but it holds its own as well, bringing you back to memories of the greatest show of all time. Buy the DVD to go with it! You won't regret it!
Free Music Review: Just get the DVDs Hit: 5 StarsHonestly, whats not to like about Firefly? Its written by Joss Whedon, sure, but all the hype about Buffy etc is beside the point; this is an ensemble cast that REALLY liked to work together and it shows. It shows so much it makes you wanna crawl into the scene and be one of them.
Seriously, the only people I've ever met who've watched Firefly and claim to have NOT liked it have 1) had some axe to grind with Whedon or 2)seemed to think it made them look smarter to dismiss this work of genius. Their loss. Firefly rocks.
Free Music Review: Just short of the BEST ALBUM EVER CREATED. Hit: 5 StarsThis one is a must have for fans and those just discovering the series. It grabs your musical attention with The Ballad of Serenity (first track of the album) and doesn't let go 'til the end. It's not hard to tell: Many talented musicians were hard at work for this one.
Free Music Review: Excellent! Hit: 5 StarsI was recently introduced to Firefly/Serenity, and immediately fell in love with it. In the ensuing Firefly binge I went on, I purchased this soundtrack, although I wasn't really expecting to listen to it much. To my surprise, I found myself listening to it several times over the next week. After listening to it, I even started to notice the quality of music while I was watching the show. The quality of this CD is surprisingly excellent, and I have to recommend it to any and all browncoats who happen across it. The strange east/west style of the show is well wrapped-up in these tracks, and a great addition to a flan's collection.
