Free Music Review: GNR Appetite for Destruction on Vinyl

I just picked up a brand new repress today on 180 gram vinyl and I have it on my turntable right now. With my Kenwood direct drive KD-2070 and audio technia cartridge man it sounds great. Warmer and smoother than the CD; I have both.
Not to mention the memories of the first time I listened to this album at a friends. The first time I heard it we listened to it on a boom box on cassette. I remember about halfway through listening to Welcome to the Jungle the batteries went dead. I ran home and grabbed a few fresh ones out of my dresser. Then we completed our very first listen. This album is timeless and I hold it to the same standards as a Beatles or Zeppelin record.
If you are a big fan of this album the vinyl re-release leaves no disappoints and serves to be a great memory machine. 22 years later it rocks just as hard as the first time I listened to it.
