Free Music Review: I Used To Love It - And I Still Do!

Let's not try to get too carried away with the paucity of the tracks or some of the 'unoriginality' on "G N'r Lies"It works well, and it has something for everyone.
Aerosmith's classic Mama Kin is given a brilliant re-working.
I could (and do) play this CD often, even after all this time!
And nothing cheers me up more than that absolutely fantastic role-reversal on the boring old "I Will Survive" crap a la Gloria Gaynor et al. In other words, "I USED TO LOVE HER (But I had to kill her!" And boy can I sympathise with that one!
Buy it and play it to death!

Guns N Roses (the TRULY last great band in america)releases another good album called GNR Lies
and it's still the best albums to listen to
in my life, it's a follow up to 1987's hit
appetite for destruction, great songs, best song writing
and slash's guitar playing is still as great as today
they were truly the last great rock n roll band
before the most overrated band in history (nirvana)
came and sent the whole rock world down the toliet.
Thank God for the darkness for rescuing it
Guns N Roses will always be the best band ever.

when i bought the cd appetite for destruction 1 of my favorite song was youre crazy.Then i found out that guns n roses are comming out with a new cd i had to buy it.when i bought it the cover was like a news paper article.i liked it!! it was clever.
the first day i bought it i listend to every song 3 times.

Free Music Review: Raw guitar playing

I think this album is as raw as it gets and i love it half of the album is live and the other half is studio its great guitar work in my books.
One in a million has great guitar work but one thing i hate about it is the lyrics very immature,very ignorant and very racist. I think the lyrics ruined that song. I hate racism period!!! And i cant believe slash let those lyrics fly i would of quit the band after my band wanted to play dirt like that.
Other than that great guitar album slash and izzy and duff you guys are great musicians.

This album being a mix of Live rock songs and Acoustic Ballads, is a fine contrast although usually only half the CD should be listened to in the particular mood. The opening 4 (Live) are fantastic rock songs that get you going. The Next four are a little more varied Patience is beautiful, One in a Million is lyrically "different" and not for the easily offended, as is also the Inlay card, where lyrics were, amusing stories ("LIES") of Sex Scandles invilving vicars and amongst other things some Soft-Core Pornography. Listen to for the songs buy it for the PORN!
