Free Music Notes for G N R LiesFree Music Review: Disturbing? Yes. Undeniably so... Hit: 5 Stars
The lyrics are disturbing, that was kind of the point. It seems to me they're most disturbing to those people who have something to hide. The power of this music, this band, to make people confront the most primal depths of the human soul is undeniable. And they do it with such tough vulnerability, time after time, it's just beautiful. Guns N' Roses have given the world a gift in the form of music that simply cannot be denied... if you're brave enough to confront it.
Free Music Review: I love this BAND!! Hit: 5 Stars
Well GNR fans this album was wonderful. I enjoyed hearing all eight songs on it. From Their version of Mama Kin by Aerosmith, to Patience(WONDEFUL A MUST HEAR!) to the contriversial One in a Million. Which I must say is one of my favorite songs. Not for the slurs, but for the emotion. Honestly the song was meant for Sarcasm. So if you liked the other albums you'll love this one. Come back soon gang we're all waiting for ya!! " Live Like a Suicide"
Free Music Review: Some of their best work Hit: 5 Stars
This is probably my favorite album from them. "You're Crazy", "Patience", and "One in a Million" give me chills every time I listen. These songs are so good. I wish they had done an entire album of songs like this..acoustic, very warm, just belting out the vocals. The live stuff shows how tight they were in their prime, too.
The acoustic songs have an organic, atmospheric quality that they never captured again. A truly great rock-n-roll album.
Free Music Review: sweet Hit: 5 Stars
good cd the first 4 songs seem to be live but they r not. after they were recorded live they had to redo them because the quality was terrible. the begining of mama kin really shows that when axl say this is a song about your f@#$in mother you can tell its not live. the second half is great too. patientence was the first gnr i learned how to play the whole way through on guitar. Standouts are mama kin move to the city patientence and one in a million.
Free Music Review: its good all the way through Hit: 5 Stars
all the songs on the album, with the possible exception of youre crazy, rock. the first four are awesome, especially their cover of the old aerosmith classic mama kin. the best song on the album is definitely patience, though im not sure why it is so appealing. as an acoustic ballad, it somehow still manages a hard rock sound. one in a million, though the lyrics might offend many people, rocks as well.
