This is actually the second time I bought this CD. The first one was loaned to a friend and she conveniently "lost" it she loved it so much. I have always liked Guns N Roses and my kids LOVE it. Plus, we are sentimental fans of "Welcome to the Jungle" since we lived in Cincinnati for a long time and it was the theme song for the Cincinnati Bengals as the games were starting. (I wish it would translate to them in their playing. Lol!) However, we LOVE this compilation of their greatest hist SO MUCH, that it was worth it to me to purchase it again. should've excluded that horrible 'ain't it fun' and 'since i don't have you' and substituted 'estranged' instead, then the list would basically be perfect. 'breakdown' or 'rocket queen' could be on here also, but 'sympathy for the devil' is a good cover so i don't mind.
the only other problem is the volume on 'patience' is too low, especially sandwiched between 'sweet child' and 'paradise city' which are both very loud. hard to listen straight through the beginning without having to adjust the volume in order to be able to hear patience.

This band was much better than I realized during their brief moment in the spotlight. Shame they melted down due too much fame, cocaine, booze and broads. The feeble attempt by Axl Rose to rgain the fame today is a faint echo of the original bands greatness. Sometimes ya just can't go home again...enjoy this retrospective for what it is: a brief shining moment in rock history.Free Music Review: gun and roses rock
