Free Music Notes for Greatest HitsFree Music Review: WOW! Hit: 5 Stars
Has the, er, pond, frozen over?! That was my thought when I was browsing a music store while waiting for my glasses to repair and spotted this album. This is music that I grew up on, associate with from puberty, and love baiting Stones fans with the question, "Didn't GNR take an excellent song, Sympathy for the Devil, and make it better?"
I recently learned that my hip big city cousin was invited to some Axl Rose event, but went to the Dominican Republic instead. Figures that a kid who idolizes Paris Hilton would do that, but we both bond over the amazing guitar riff and lyrics found in "Sweet Child of Mine" so despite our 11 year age span, we both are in full agreement that this album rocks, whether played from the original albums (of which I own most) on vinyl, cassette tape, compact disc, or MP3 format. Of course, cousin just says something like, "it's hot" while I say, "it's unbelievable!"
As for those whom I cannot convert, well, buy the album and make the educated choice yourself. Good music is good music, and as far as I'm concerned Axl Rose is just another name for William Bruce Rose, Jr. (if you use wikipedia as your source). I for one am thankful for this album arriving in my CD player and subsquently on my MP3 player.
Free Music Review: Not worth it, eh? Hit: 5 Stars
Some people just dont know good quality music when they see it. Keep in mind that this is a greatest hits album, meaning it has all the songs we've all heard on one Cd alone.
You dont need to go out and spend more money on all the albums if you just want one or two of their most well known hits. Now you have them all together, and even some songs are added in to give it even more of a great sense to it, if that is even possible.
The best songs would have to be:
Paradise City: Great, great song, one of the most recognizable songs ing history. 6 minutes of great music
Live and Let Die: Another great song, and I really loved the guitar music in this.
Welcome to the Jungle: Have you seen the commercials for GTA, San Andreas? If so then you have to agree that this song goes with it quite nicely. I reccommend this song as the must hear for any of GN'R songs.
As for that guy who gave it one star, who cares if you know so much about GN'R? So do millions of other people, just ease up a little there. I would definately reccommend this, not everyone can see great quality work, even if it is in front of their eyes, so go out and buy it now
Free Music Review: Don't buy it if you're a Guns N' Roses fan Hit: 5 Stars
If you're a Guns N' Roses fan, there's only 2 reasons why you should buy this album...- You're a G'N'R collector - You have a friend who likes G'N'R, but doesn't own any of the albums. So this album is a great present indeed. A true fan already owns at least "Appetite For Destruction", "Use Your Illusion I & II" and perhaps "Lies". "The Spaguetti Incident" was just a plain bad album, but if you liked "Since I Don't Have You", you might as well go to ITunes or Napster and download it. People on the previous posts complain a lot for this album not including more songs from "Appetite For Destruction" or "Use Your Illusion" but let me remind them... THIS IS A HITS ALBUM!! ...which includes pretty much every single song played on the radio. There's a lot of fan favorites not included here, but that's just because THEY WEREN'T HITS! Yet this is a great pick for anyone who is just about to get introduced to this band. Guns N' Roses could have been the biggest thing since 'The Beatles', but we all know how that story ends. So don't even bother to wait for 'Chinese Democracy' to come out.
Free Music Review: GREAT BUT NEEDS A FEW GOODS Hit: 5 Stars
Great album by the Guns, but ain't it need 2 others from the
Illusion II? It does. It needs 14 Years, and Estranged, 2 really
good songs. The rest fit. My favorite songs on this album are
Sweet Child O' Mine and November Rain. I also like a lot of the
others like Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Knockin' On
Heaven's Door, Civil War, You Could Be Mine, & Live and Let Die.
If this greatest hits album was edited, I would then get this.
But heres the greatest hits album if I edited this with different
tracks.
1. Welcome to the Jungle
2. Paradise City
3. Sweet Child O' Mine
4. Patience
5. November Rain
6. Live and Let Die
7. Civil War
8. 14 Years
9. Knockin' on Heaven's Door
10. Estranged
11. You Could Be Mine
12. Ain't It Fun
13. Since I Don't Have You
Okay that's this new greatest hits album I created. So why don't
you read my review and I'll check back tomorrow. Yeah, I love
GN'R and they keep the great rock and roll. Get this with AFD, &
UYI 2.
Free Music Review: GNR ARE GREAT Hit: 5 Stars
This is a great collection by one of the greatest heavy metal bands of all time and maybe ever, Guns N Roses. They rule, and are one of the most talented, and my favorite artists of all time. They just make great music. Let me take you to the compilation now. This is great but it is missing Rocket Queen,
and Mr. Brownstone. If those 2 were added, then it would be complete. The best songs on this album are Civil War, and November Rain, because they ROCK and are REALLY LONG. I think
there are several really great songs on this, I strongly recommend anyone to get this album because GNR changes your life FOREVER. Please ignore the junk albums from AC/DC, Aerosmith, & Queen and get this album with any Dire Straits, or Green Day, or
Appetite For Destruction from the same band. Highly recommended.
Gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great gnr are great....
