Free Music Review: A CD from an awesome and powerful group!
Hit: 5 Stars

This is an EXCELLENT intro album for anyone who truly loves rock and roll. Guns N' Roses has quite a history-but this reflects the evolution and changing face of rock, doesn't it? The great and unforgettable music, the hard teamwork, the infighting between group members, mistakes with drugs, it's all here. I heard G N' R on the radio before and decided to try them out a bit further when I bought this CD. I'm glad I did! They rock! The first four songs on the album are from their past albums and demonstrate their ability to do hard rock ("Welcome to the Jungle") as well as meaningful ballads within the style of rock ("Sweet Child of Mine," "Patience"). The band then throws in some great versions of McCartney's "Live and Let Die," Bob Dylan's "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," and The Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil." I would highly recommend this album, especially for newcomers who want to see all that this band was. Here's hoping they ROCK ON!

Free Music Review: Guns N' Roses Key Hits Are All Here And Remastered Too!
Hit: 5 Stars

While other reviewers put down this Guns N' Roses collection for various reasons, I still felt since their biggest hits are included in this package (even if some are cover versions) and remastered I'm not complaining. I also picked this cd up at a local store for an extremely low price so I felt I got alot of music for the money! Hits such as "Paradise City", "Welcome To The Jungle", "Sweet Child O' Mine", "You Could Be Mine", "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" (a Bob Dylan cover), "Live And Let Die" (a Paul McCartney And Wings cover), "November Rain", "Don't Cry" and "Sympathy For The Devil" (a Rolling Stones cover) are here plus five more songs. The sound quality is excellent due to remastering and it's all put together in an attractive digipack. If you enjoy eighties rock such as Poison, Cinderella, Motley Crue and Dokken then you'll enjoy this collection.

Free Music Review: cant wait!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Guns N' Roses' new album entitled "Greatest Hits" will definately become a huge victory in its record sales. I mean, who wouldn't want to buy an album with legendary hits by a band whose marked world history with their major music influence. From their first album "Appetite For Destruction" to the release of the "Greatest Hits" album, Guns N' Roses will forever be remembered for existing as such a massive icon to their audience as well as inspiring musicians. The album includes in your face hard rock songs such as "Welcome to the Jungle" to the very popular "Sweet Child O' Mine". Axl's softer side and beautiful voice is apparent in "Don't Cry"; and who could forget the song and movie-video of "November Rain"? The song's explicit intensity is what makes the song great. The lyrics, the choir, the guitars all work together beautifully to produce the best metal ballot of all time. This album is a definite prize collectable!

Free Music Review: 14 of GNR's finest.
Hit: 5 Stars

This is GNR's best songs from each of their albums on one CD. Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child O' Mine, and Paradise City are from Appetite For Destruction. Nightrain or Rocket Queen would've been nice additions to this album. And Patience the only hit from GNR Lies is a great acoustic song. 7 of the songs are from the Use Your Illusion albums, my favorite is November Rain and Knockin' On Heaven's Door (which is a cover of Bob Dylan's song). And on The Spaghetti Incident Ain't It Fun (The Dead Boys) and Since I Don't Have You (The Skyliners) are 2 great cover songs and are very underrated. Also Sympathy For the Devil a rolling stones cover song was great, in fact it's better then the rolling stones version and its underrated. It could've had maybe Estranged, Nightrain or Rocket Queen on it.

Anyways, if you want all of GNR's hits on 1 CD instead of buying 6 CD's to have all these songs then buy it.

Free Music Review: Great collection of hits from a band that ended too early...
Hit: 5 Stars

Throughout the late 80's and early 90's, Guns N' Roses held themselves and solidified their position as a strong and destructive band, and this Greatest Hits compilation proves just that. With memorable faves such as "Welcome To The Jungle", "Sweet Child O' Mine", and "Paradise City", and other essentials like "Yesterdays", "Civil War", and a cover of the classic Wings hit, "Live And Let Die", this collection allows GNR fans to say that this was a very great band. Axl's penetrating wails and Slash's all-star guitar licks are definitely wild, crazy, and, above all, incredible.

Guns N' Roses, however, could not hold its own as the years went by, and Axl ended up with the bill after the rest of the band walked out. But we will always have the memories of Guns N' Roses thanks to this collection of hits. I recommend this for any die-hard GNR fan or any hard rockers out there. Get it!
