Free Music Notes for Spaghetti Incident

Free Music Review: NOT FOR G n R FANBOYS!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I will keep this not going to find any "Paradise City" or "Sweet Child of Mine" on this album (both very over-rated GnR songs), What you are going to find is some really great covers........yes its all covers, this is not Guns n Roses original music, some people think it is and hate it because it sounds love it.

You got covers of The Misfits, The Damned, New York Dolls, T-Rex, Dead Boys, Nazareth ect. HOW CAN YOU GO WRONG???
I guess if you don't like punk rock you probably won't like a lot of stuff on here, but if you do, you'll love it. Its great songs re-done by a great band.

This album gets bashed all the time and I don't know why, most people who bash it have probably never even listened to it.

I can listen to it start to finish every time, and I have worn it out since '94 when I bought it on Cassette.

Point is........don't listen to the "Greatest Hits" fanboys who knock this album, its a great collection of covers, and its definetly worth buying, BUT...if you are a "Paradise city" ONLY type person then you won't like it. this is for people who like a little loud dirty rock n roll.

Free Music Review: Judge the product, not your beliefs on the band or covers.
Hit: 5 Stars

I will judge what the product you buy is. Yes, it's not half as good as other Gn'R cds since they are covers, but you know what... it's one of the most fun albums to listen to. It's one of those that you can pop anytime in your stereo and have a good time listening to. It's fun to sing along some of this lyrics "I don't care about you, fV<k you!", others are sad like Since i don't Have You and Ain't It Fun, but most of this albums is just fun to listen to. It's rawer and heavier than the Illusions, it's not as original or groundbreaking as Appetite, but all the songs are good, even "look at your game", who gives a flying fV<k if Charles Manson wrote it... the song is good. Maybe the least good song in the album is "You can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory". Anyways, this album and "live era 87-93" were meant purely just to hold the fans until the new album comes out... which we are all still waiting for. I say buy it, enjoy it, love it... this one is one of those you will keep in your cd player for a long time and you'll find yourself wanting to listen to it again and again, regardless if they are covers.

Free Music Review: rocking covers
Hit: 5 Stars

OK i'm not as big of a GNR fan as I was when I was a kid , but every once in awhile I still pop in the Illusions albums and Appetite ..and especially this one. Why?. Because now I am a huge punk fan , and at the time I had this I didn't even know who any of these bands were and didn't even care for the songs all that much then except for the cover of FEAR's "I Don't Care About You" and UK Sub's "Down On The Farm". Now after repurchasing this and now I see the great bands and songs that were covered here such as the awesome version of the Misfit's classic "Attitude" and The Dead Boys "Aint It Fun" are well done. The cover of The Damned's "New Rose" is decent but Duff's voice is kinda [bad], and now after comparing the UK Sub's version of "Down On The Farm" to GNR's..GNR's is definitly better because it has a rawer rock sound to it. Iggy Pop's "Raw Power" is also a stand out. I say punk fans would probably enjoy this more than most GNR fans or not because well I know alot of punks arent too thrilled with GNR covering these songs in the first place , but since I had it when I was around 10 or 11 I don't really seem to care

Free Music Review: One of the most underrated albums ever.
Hit: 5 Stars

The Spaghetti Incident by GN'r is one of the most underrated albums ever. It starts with the hit Since I Don't Have You. Then comes New Rose, which was surprisingly good. Down on the Farm sounds a bit like it is sung by a british guy. Human Being follows, and it is one of my favorites. Raw Power is good, and Ain't it Fun is the second hit on the album. Buick Makane is above average, and then is Hair of the Dog, my personal favorite on the album (this was also a hit, but not included on the Greatest Hits. Attitude is basically just the band singing the word attitude over and over, but it sounds good. Black Leather is great, and You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory is basically the Duff lover's dream. Some may see this as a bad album to end their career with, but what song would fit better than one called I Don't Care About You? At first it just seems like ranting, but then evolves into something a little more refined. Kinda like the band. No other song fits the Guns like this.

Free Music Review: Critics Are...Funny
Hit: 5 Stars

TSI? is an amazing album. Every song is either good or great. Covers or not, Guns N' Roses did a tremendous job here. Nothing to complain about except the infamous "Duff song" (bassist.) Which is "You Can't Put Your Arms Around a Memory" where he does the vocals, plays bass, drums, everything and although a nice gesture towards Johnny Thunders (whom he tributes the song to at the beginning), the song is the worst on the album. The vocals make me cringe.

Most critics didn't give this album a chance...and it's a shame. Had there been some actual promotion, maybe the more reknown critics would have given this CD a chance.

Also, "Look at Your Game", while written by serial killer Charles Manson, is a blatant effort at provoking negative publicity, it's an incredible mellow song. It's a hidden track on this disc (number 12, after "I Don't Care About You", just wait for it to kick in.)
