Free Music Notes for Spaghetti IncidentFree Music Review: If you like GN'R, then you most likely will like this album Hit: 4 Stars
For some reason, a lot of people do not like this album. Sure it's not as good as Appetite or the Illusion cds, but the Spaghetti Incident is still a really good album.1.Since I Don't Have You-This doesn't seem like a song that GN'R would cover, but it is still pretty good. 2.New Rose-This is a punk song that Duff does vocals on. It is fun to listen to. 3.Down on the Farm-One of my favorite tracks on this album. It is really creative and fun to listen to. 4.Human Being-This song is awesome, although you can't tell what Axl is saying. 5.Raw Power-This song is pretty good, but not as good as the rest. 6.Ain't It Fun-Awesome song. Axl's voice and the lyrics make it sound really dark. 7.Buick McKaine-Sort of a strange song, but the "F*** you" chant is really cool. 8. Hair of the Dog-This is my favorite song on the album. It is a Nazareth cover, and rocks very hard. 9.Attitude-This is a punk song that is sung by Duff. It is good, but too short. 10.Black Leather-Some people really like this song, others(like me)don't. I guess it depends on your taste. 11.You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory-A ballady type song that Duff McKagen sings on, plus Duff plays the bass, guitar, and drums on this song as well. 12.I Don't Care About You-This song is really rebellious, and fun to listen to. 13.Look At Your Game Girl-This is a hidden track that you can find if you keep the cd playing after track 12. It is actually very pretty, even though Charles Manson wrote it.
Free Music Review: Just some information Hit: 4 Stars
I've only ever heard a friend's copy of this record, as I am a sworn GNR-hater (no offense). I can say that it's their only tolerable album in my view, because I love the songs they cover (some of em). I just wrote this review to tell people who originally did these songs (the ones i know), so you can go get those versions.
1. "Since I Don't Have You" - i dunno who did this
2. "New Rose" - The Damned. Get "Damned Damned Damned"
3. "Down on the Farm" - UK Subs. Get "Before You Were Punk: Best of"
4. "Human Being" - don't ask me
5. "Raw Power" - Iggy & the Stooges. Get "Raw Power"
6. "Buick Makane" - c'mon, i don't know
7. "Hair of the Dog" - apparently a band called Nazareth did this, but i've never heard of 'em. The Ramones have a different song of the same name, though, so get that, on "Animal Boy."
8. "Attitude" - The Misfits. Get "Static Age"
9. "Black Leather" - Sex Pistols. I don't know where you can get THIS song, but you should get the "Bollocks" or the "Swindle."
10. "You Can't Put Your Arms 'Round a Memory" - Johnny Thunders. Get "So Alone"
11. "I Don't Care About You" - Fear. Get "The Record"
Free Music Review: GNR Must Have Loved Making This Album Hit: 4 Stars
After the two great »Use Your Illusion« double albums, with complicatedly arranged songs, Guns N'Roses must have felt like showing the World they still can do simple stuff as well. And they did good!Through the power and musical talent expressed in every song on this mostly-punk album, you can just feel how the band loves to just play songs which have been its greatest inspiration sources. From the heart-squeezing guitar and vocals on the opening track »Since I Don't Have You«, Guns N'Roses take the listener on a journey through their favourites. It goes via the all-over British punk song »Down On The Farm« (the album's best track) and the melodically rocking piano and percussion of »Human Being«, endning in the nearly melancholic unlisted track »The Game« by Charles Manson (which, however, is not featured anymore on albums pressed since February 2000). Guns N'Roses simply combine their joy of playing with their highly-developed musical skills on this tribute. Somehow sad that it became the band's last release in the great line-up - but on the other hand, the joy of playing expressed on this album is a good way of ending.
Free Music Review: SINCE WE DON'T HAVE NEW, LYRICS THAT IS Hit: 4 Stars
Over the last seven years, one of the gratest rock bands has not released a new album. Before they stepped out of the lime-light for awhile they left there fans a treat. The Spagetti Incident was only intended to show how versitile the group was. They had to make us all remember where they came from. The songs, although are not original, all have a GN'R feel to them. This album was made to pay tribute to the bands that influenced, and inspired the members of GN'R to become the musicians that they are today. In a way this album has become a return to their roots type of thing that has left the true GN'R fan happy. Happy to see that after Use Your Illusion II the band had some humbleness left in it, and to remember that they are not the creators of Rock, just the current God's.Overall i gave this album a 4/5, the only reason they didn't get all of the stars is due to the lack of original material. Buy this album and you will feel the joy of hearing GN'R with some good songs and excellent guitar play, with Duff playing the bass like only he knows how.
