Free Music Notes for Spaghetti Incident

Free Music Review: Underappreciated
Hit: 4 Stars

Gnr ended with a cover album, and I wish they would have acted like grown-ups and stayed together, but this album is nothing to really frown upon. GNR left their mark on the 50's with a jazzy/bluesy rendition of Since I Don't Have You. They successfully pull off a stint in British punk with Down on the Farm and Black Leather. I can't help but love Human Being and Hair of the Dog. I still can't understand a word Duff says, but he pulls it off in New Rose and Attitute. As for "...Memory", Duff is the only guy I know who can sound innocent while singing the ...word. Good song. I would prefer an instumental version of I Don't Care About You. I like this album becuase it was a sidestep for GNR, but they still managed to put their style into it. For the usually low price, it is one of the best buys I've made in my music collection.

Free Music Review: Cool album!
Hit: 4 Stars

I believe the title of this album is a parody of a movie entitled "The Linguini Incident". This album contains songs previously recorded by other artists. One of them is SINCE I DON'T HAVE YOU which was a hit. I don't know the name of the artist who first recorded the song back in the fifties, but I do know it was previously covered by Art Garfunkel. DOWN ON THE FARM tells about boring life on the farm. W. Axl Rose sings "I feel just like a vegetable","I feel like a fish out of water", and "Everything smells like horse----!" on that song. There are other profanity-filled favorites like ATTITUDE,I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU,BUICK MAKANE and AIN'T IT FUN. This album sold far less than Guns 'n Roses previous albums. Also the group disbanded after this album. All the other songs are cool.

Free Music Review: Totally under-rated!
Hit: 4 Stars

It seems like everybody in the world hates this album, and I don't know why. Greatness is in the ear of the listener I suppose, but I like this album very much. Their version of "Hair of The Dog" turned me onto Nazareth. You certainly can't knock the songs (if you do then you probably don't like or understand Rock n' Roll period), and I think this is a fine and enthusiastic tribute to the music that inspired GN'R, and I can honestly find no fault with it.

And to whoever said GN'R were an average band, I just wanna say where do you hang around? Seriously, I wanna know, because if the average bands in your neck of the woods are as vital and incendiary as GN'R, then I think I want to move there!

Free Music Review: Spaghetti...YUMMY!!!!
Hit: 4 Stars

Now, I think that this is at the bottom of the list of the best Guns N' Roses CDs out there but it is awesome for what it has. They still had the attitude of their other CDs only they were singing covers. I don't think that this is worthy of 5 stars because of the fact that these are covers and not G N' R originals (they could probably pass as originals though by the way they sing them) but I give it 4 because I love it and, well, it's Guns N' Roses. The best part about it is they don't butcher the songs like other crappy bands that sing covers. Get it if you love Guns N' Roses, if you like the originals, listen to the samples then get it if you like it. This CD is not for everyone, but it is too cool.

Free Music Review: A Lot Better Than I Thought It Would Be.
Hit: 4 Stars

I figured this album would be like a two star thing when I bought it. But I was quite suprised when I found out it was very good. Apart from several mediocre songs, this is a great album of classic punk and hard rock covers. Some of them downright stink, which is why this album only recieved 4 stars. But some of them rock like there is no tommorrow. Often Axl Rose makes strange sounds with his voice. If you are looking for the heaviest GNR song ever, check out Ain't It Fun with its almost death metal chorus. This is a great bargain for any hard rock/metal fan, but if you are a beginner on this band, I would advise you to check out Appetite For Destruction or the Use Your Illusion albums first.
