I just got this one, after looking for it for months (I thought my brother had his copy somewhere between my dad's records, but just trying to find my dad's records was hard enough). Dah, here it goes.
Right Next Door To Hell - Not that bad, but still not good enough. I like the main riff and the chorus, and Axl's scream. 7/10
Dust N' Bones - Nice Izzy song. 8/10
Live And Let Die - This song is sexy, nice instrumental, and nice vocals. I give it high rating because there's nothing wrong with it. 9/10
Don't Cry - Awesome song. 10/10
Perfect Crime - Just Axl talking nosense about his Perfect Crime. Too bad the song isn't perfect. 7/10
You Ain't The First - OMG THIS SUCKS 4/10
Bad Obsession - Cool the first time, then it's meh. 7/10
Back Off Bitch - I love this song. 9/10
Double Talkin Jive - Nice... But a bit boring. 7/10
November Rain - 10/10 Another perfect song!!!
The Garden - Niceeeee I love the chorus. 9/10
Garden Of Eden - Really quick, catchy song. 8/10
Don't Damn Me - I love this one too, but... 8/10
Bad Apples - Nice scheme, not so nice song. 7/10
Dead Horse - Sexy song oh yeah, the chorus sucks a bit (Sometimes I feel as if I'm beating a dead horse...) but Axl's melody rox. 8/10
Coma - Ultimate GN'R epic, this song is scary, with the beats the first few seconds, then the doctors, the b*t*h*s and the operation taking place, and how this may happen to YOU. And Slash's solo may be a little short...Well, too short, but it cheers you up and makes you ready for the rest of the song. Kind of a roller coaster thing. 10/10
Free Music Review: This is Guns N Roses finest CD

Use Your Illusion 1 is a fine example of how a chart topping band such as Guns N Roses can out do themselves again and again. It rocks us right away with "Right Next Door To Hell". They do a great remake of Paul Mcartney's "Live and Let Die" on track 3. The next song is "Don't Cry". This track is a very beautiful song, very deep. They then rock us again with the explicet "Perfect Crime". This track alone got this CD the Parental Advisory label. Track 7, "Bad Obsession" is a very interesting track, they use a harmonica in that song. That is something totally new for a metal band, very nice. Track 10: November Rain is the most amazing song on the CD. It has beauty and art to it. They then rock us again, with "The Garden", "Don't Damn Me" and the ultimate mosh pit song "Garden of Eden. The final track is by far the most interesting. " Coma is a song about the drug use. It frowns! ! down and talks about how it ruins a life. This song has amazing vocals by Axel Rose and amazing guitar by Slash, with great sound effects. This song is truly amazing. This is by far Guns N Roses best album. Axel Rose, the genius and star of the group did amazing vocals and writing. Slash was great on the guitar as usaul. Duff was great on the bass and backup vocals. Matt Sorum was good on the drums. The most underated talent of the group is Izzy. He wrote almost half the songs and did great with vocals and guitar. It is a shame that he is no longer with the group. This album is amazing. I give it my highest rating. It is a shame that Guns N Roses has not done anything new for awhile. They are having internal problems.Nathan Dusek

Use your illusions 1 and 2 are some of the best hard rock albums ever recorded.Since there are allot of songs on these albums, most of the songs are considered filler,but rest asured,the only filler on either album is my world.
Right next door to hell:10/10:great song,killer opener
Dust N Bones:Really good vocals, an instant classic
Live and let die:8/10 Not the greatest cover, but I really like to listen to this track for some reason
Don't Cry:9/10 Kinda boring, but the guitar solo is kick ass
Perfect Crime:8/10 Hyper song, kinda insane in some parts and rather short,plus the placement here is wierd: we get a slow, sad love song,then an insane Hard rock song with a chorus that goes:"god dammit, it's a perfect crime,Motherf&*ker, its a perfect crime,I SAID ITS PERFECT!" F&*ked up.
You aint the first:7/10 This song has Izzy Axl and Shannon on vocals, it's very country like.Good, though.
Bad Obsession:8/10 Pretty good stuff
Back off bitch:9/10 funny breakup song,kinda insane in some parts
double talkin jive:10/10 really cool song
November Rain:7/10 A total snooze fest til slash's solo kicks in
The garden:9/10 very good song,Alice cooper sings on it, Shannon too.
Garden Of edan:9/10 christ, this is fast.It's punk.

Dead horse:8/10 Pretty good
Coma:10/10 An epic, It's ten minutes in length and is one of the gunners' best songs. The lyrics are very dark and well written.its about a guy who would rather live in a Coma than live in the real world.

Bad Apples 7/10 weakest song on the album. but that dosen't mean its not good.
Dead Horse 10/10 great song with the intro with axl singing the acoustic intro. its was very good live
Coma 10/10 my favorit part is the last 2 mins.
people say that if they just had uyi and not have to parts and leave out the songs that weren't amazing it would be the greatest album of all time. and i agree. but then you would have not gotten to hear all those other goods songs that weren't on the album. this is one great album.

Use your Illusion 1 is filled with some of Axl's greatest vocal songs and also some songs that rock harder than Appetite for Destruction. I would still most recommend AFD for the best GN'R.
Right Next Door to Hell- 5/5 Great way to start an album, I especially like the beginning of the song.
Dust N' Bones- 5/5 Awesome- Cool lyrics especially, and also good piano in this piece.
Live and Let Die- 4/5 Good Song, but not originally from GN'R.
Don't Cry- 4.5/5 Good song, a little slow, but Axl's voice is great in this song.
Perfect Crime- 4/5 Good song but Axl talks too fast.
You Ain't the First- 5/5 This is not typical Guns N' Roses music, but I love how they play together. It's kind of a country song, but great guitar.
Bad Obsession- 5/5 Cool lyrics and guitar.
Back off Bitch- 5/5 Another great song.
Double Talkin' Jive- 5/5 Good song, I especially like the ending.
November Rain- 5/5 Excellent classic by Guns.
