Free Music Notes for Brokeback MountainFree Music Review: Brokeback Soundtrack Hit: 4 StarsLots more music then I remembered from the film, but the title song, the one that made you cry in the theatre is Really short. And there are many reprises of it. If you just want that haunting instrumental, you might want to look for the single track or mp3.
Free Music Review: An Unexpected Gem Hit: 4 StarsI am the last one who would buy a country CD-but I loved the movie & the music was just as memorable. I only wish some of the instrumental pieces were longer. I often skip from one instrumental piece to the next. The songs take me back to the amazing scenic beauty of the movie. The music is hauntingly beautiful & mezmerizing.
Free Music Review: Brokeback Mountain Hit: 5 StarsThis is one of the BEST cd's I've ever purchased. The songs on this album are some of the best love songs that I have ever heard.
Free Music Review: Haunting and very nostalgic Hit: 5 StarsI couldn't agree more in the sense that this is one of the finest soundtracks of 2005. The songs are beautiful with no exceptions, and the music is quite haunting. This is one of those soundtracks that offers the necessary atmosphere to the main issues of the movie: sort of sad, nostalgic and romantic. It certainly is a magnificent album that will be enjoyed even by those sensibilities who felt somehow touched by the delicate subject of the movie.
Free Music Review: Heartbreaking and Haunting--the Perfect Score and Soundtrack Hit: 5 StarsBrokeback Mountain is a movie that haunts you, gets inside your soul and gnaws away, and generally just doesn't leave you. Part of that mystery and experience is this gorgeous, haunting score and perfectly chosen soundtrack selections. You hear the lean, spare score long after the movie is done. It's as evocative of the rugged, basic world the movie's two main characters inhabit as their spare dialogue.
