Free Music Notes for As Cruel as School ChildrenFree Music Review: Gym Class Heroes Saves Hip Hop Hit: 5 StarsGym Class heroes is the perfect fusion of hip hop and punk rock. Dishasi on the guitar is a master, and Travis on vocals is genius, Matt's drums are intense, and Eric on Bass is amazing. This group is fantastic for Hip Hop fans, and punk rock fans alike! A touch of humor, and great beats makes this album one of the best albums, not as emotional and serious as Papercut Chronicles, but TONS OF FUN.
Free Music Review: From great single to a whole album Hit: 4 StarsI'll admit to getting it for the one single, but I'm kind of hooked. This is just plain fun!
Free Music Review: An upgrade from PCC. Hit: 4 StarsAlthough they have a reoccuring track "Cupid's Chokehold" the rest of the CD is playful and fun. Clothes off is a good track to listen to and dance. Not bad. Get it you won't be disappointed.
Free Music Review: Third album, less mature Hit: 4 StarsThis is actually Gym Class Heroes' THIRD album. "For the Kids" was the first, followed by "The Papercut Chronicles."
While the lyrics of many of the "As Cruel as School Children" songs are less mature and less complicated in comparison to "The Papercut Chronicles," there are a few songs that are particularly moving, specifically "Shoot Down the Stars."
If you're looking for an uncomplicated, dancy indie hip-hop album, this one's for you.
Free Music Review: Gym Class Heroes has a major hit in my book. Hit: 5 StarsI recommend this album to really anyone. I personally don't know much about rap or hip hop, but I know what sounds good. Everything I've heard so far from Gym Class Heroes has sounded very good. This album is witty, charismatic, and fun, an outstanding combination.
As Cruel as School Children. Interesting title, interesting music, interesting band. I can't give them a better endorsement than that. Give them a listen, and you'll like what you hear.
