"Every gesture was transformed into poetry by the Kurtags' performance." -- The GuardianHungarian composer György Kurtág (b. 1926) is one of the leading lights of contemporary music, as evidenced in strong audience response and vigorous CD sales. Játékok ["Games"] is an assembly of tiny pieces for piano solo and piano duet that Kurtág has been writing since the 1970s. Szálkák is a work for solo cimbalom, the unique Hungarian instrument first made famous in the classic film The Third Man.
