Free Music Notes for Halo 2, Vol. 2Free Music Review: H2 orchestra music rocks Hit: 4 StarsIf you enjoyed the game, this music will bring back great memories. This is all the classical music, so it's much different, and in my opinion much better, than Vol. 1. Definitely worth the money if you're a fan of the game and music.
Free Music Review: Why wasn't this on the fist album? Hit: 2 StarsIt is curious that the Halo 2 soundtrack was broken into two separate CD's in the first place, instead of just the 4 songs from the major bands that weren't part of the game. If you are true fan and just have to have all the music, drop the 10-12 bucks (new). Otherwise, I much prefer the music from Halo I.
Free Music Review: First one was better Hit: 3 StarsI'm a huge fan of the first CD so bought the second... It has some great tracks but overall I thought that the first one was better.
Free Music Review: If you are a fan of Halo and it's music... Hit: 5 StarsYou will want this CD! Most of the music you hear in the game is a shortened version of the score that was written! It is an eclectic mix of contemporary rock with a classical flair! I strongly recommend this to music lovers as well as gamers that enjoy Halo!
Free Music Review: Yet another CD that demonstrates talent outside of movie-music Hit: 4 StarsThis CD was awesome, even compared to the Halo: Combat Evolved CD and the Halo 2 vol. 1 CD. It proves yet again that there is musical talent (or should I say SUPERB musical talent) in the gaming industry. There is even a song (possibly the best on the CD) featuring Steve Vai on guitar. The only problem with this CD is that it is comprised of suites, which are each made of different smaller "songs", and you can't skip to an individual movement in the suites. Overall, this CD shows that a great videogame deserves some great music to go along with it.
