There is no doubt that the previous Halo soundtracks have been great and mesmerising with a heroic feeling. However with Halo 3 composers Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori seemed to have had a bigger budget and were able to hire a larger orchestra. Here they brought back some of the familiar tracks and tweaked them producing an outstanding soundtrack seem fit for the most successful and recognised video game in history, the unforgettable Halo 3.
Here the content is presented on two great discs, disc one containg 15 tracks and disc two containing 16 tracks. If you enjoyed Halo 3 then I recommend that you grab the soundtrack to relive those great memories of when you fought for mankind.

This is by far the best Halo score ever!
I woke up at the sound of the doorbell, my package having just arrived. What a treat to wake up to! It was great to listen to first thing in the morning. The orchestral pieces are amazing, particularly the new arrangements of the classics. Follow the music along to the imagery in your mind once you've played this game. Superb!
I really don't care for the hidden track, and I dare say it may be the only blemish on the set, but marketing wise I guess it served it's purpose.
This 2 CD set is a must for any Halo fan. I couldn't wait to receive it, and I'm glad to say it does not disappoint.
Free Music Review: New life in old melodies

You know music is great if it gives you goosebumps and chills down your spine. That's what happened to me when I listened to the Ending suites. Marty and Mikey did a fantastic job polishing and rearanging old and new music for this, the final game in the Halo trilogy.
Let's not forget the packaging either. The two disc case has the classic look of the previous releases yet with a bit of a darker feel. The Arbiter and Master Chief adorn the first disc and The Chief and Cortana adorn the second disc, both discs featuring the characters in a dull shadowy color to keep with the dark mood.
In short, there isn't much here that I don't like. I highly recomend.

This was an excellent soundtrack! I play Halo, and appreciate the music, but this soundtrack surpassed all of my expectations. It is a powerful, clever, and intelligent soundtrack. If you are a fan of orchestrated soundtracks to movies, you'll love this!
This soundtrack blends themes from the first game, and the second game, as well as a few new sounds. Also, this was performed by an orchestra, not MIDI files. The 2-disc set places the songs in the chronological order found in the game, with the rock song "LuVrFriends" at the end.
Overall, this was a soundtrack that I will continue to listen to, for a long time to come; it just doesn't get old...
Free Music Review: Such music brings euphoria to my ears

Not often will a game's soundtrack please everyone as there are many different tastes. But this has to be one of the times where even people who never listen to orchestrated music, will truly be thrilled. The CD is absolutely breathtaking simply because each musical note is crafted perfectly to fit the game. While playing the game, we dont get a full appreciation of the track. But listening to each track gives me not only a muscal masterpiece, but it takes me back into the virtual fantasy world. Not many albums can do this. Oh, and finally I dont have to sit in front of the TV staring at the home screen just to listen to "Never Forget!"
