Free Music Review: Did it again.....

while listening to "Straight to hell" before DWRP was released. I wondered if Hank could capture the same vibe and atmosphere that "Straight to hell" put off. I thought the album was perfect. Both groundzero concerts were incredible! Needless to say this i had high hopes for this album.....
Today, (oct 21) i rushed out to pick up the album i knew would be just as good as straight to hell. After 10 minutes of listening i was shocked to think that it maybe better than STH. My advice to anybody who liked the previous album, pick this one up and let it be the album that u inhereit alcohol poisoning from!

This is another great country album from Hank III, but he also has added a little bit of his hellbilly style songs on here as well. This is his follow up to "Straight To Hell" which in my opinion is the greatest country album ever and on "Damn Right, Rebel Proud" he continues to push the limits of what country music is and what it can be. Songs like "Long Hauls and Close Calls" which combines country & metal, "3 Shades Of Black", and "Punch, Fight, F@#$" would scare the hell out of those top 40 artists.Free Music Review: DAMN RIGHT, REBEL PROUD

HANK III, DEFINES "OUTLAW COUNTRY". HIS LATEST DOES NOT DISAPPOINT, IT'S RAW EDGED AND ROUGH, IT'S A COUNTRY- ROCKING BLASTER THAT YOU'LL LISTEN TO AGAIN AND AGAIN. THIS IS NOT POP COUNTRY, THIS NOT PC MUMBELYPEG. THERE IS PROFANITY, BUT IT'S NOT GRATUITUS, IT'S STRAIGHT -UP "REAL". IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE HEARTFELT SORROW, AND SOME ANGER -- THEN BUY SOME KENNY CHESNEY. HANK'S A MAN, AND HE SINGS LIKE ONE. BUY IT !Free Music Review: Hank does it again!

Absolutely a great album. Hank continues to impress.
For those who like this tempo, along with that found on Straight To Hell, be sure to find his "unreleased" album called "this ain't country" that his last record label refused to release. That is also an absolutely awesome album. This new album along with STH and This Ain't Country, Fitting for Hank III, are my favorite 3 albums of his.

This is what Country music should sound like. Hank III has the balls and the talent to really capture life. This is not for those who drool over the typical Pop 40 Country that is currently making me sick. Damn Right, Rebel Proud is awesome!!!!! I love this album!!!!
