Free Music Notes for Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley CyrusFree Music Review: best one yet!! Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this CD because i liked the first hannah montana cd so much that i knew it had to be as good! But it is actually even better than the first. Its a really good buy, too, because you get 20 songs instead of the usual 13.
Meet Miley Cyrus comes with TWO CD's (20 songs for the same price as a regular CD) and i was peasantly surprised to find that the songs have a greater variety of musicality. Each song sounds different and unique. When you listen you can tell right away there's quite a difference between the Hannah songs on the first CD, and the Miley songs on the 2nd CD.
The 'hannah' songs are similar to the original hannah montana soundtrack in lyrics and sound, while the miley songs are more down-to-earth and heartfelt. I prefer the 10 songs by Miley on disk 2 because the content of these songs better appeal to ordinary people (as opposed to being a pop star) and don't have the generic synthesized techno sounds of the disc 1 hannah songs.
I really enjoyed the styles of the songs on the Miley disc too, they have a bit less pop sound (but still pop) than the original 'hannah montana' ones. But if you really like the hardcore dance beats of the hannah songs, you'll really enjoy disc 1. Either way, these 2 CDs provide A LOT of variety whichever styles you pefer. Overall this album is really well made, each song has great lyrics and catchy tunes.

Free Music Review: It's About Time Hit: 5 Stars
I have always like Billy Ray Cyrus for his soul. I loved him in Doc and in the messages the show brought. I love Some Gave All and the way BRC is so full of heart.
I don't have the Disney Channel but sometimes on Saturday mornings while I was having breakfast I'd turn on the TV and Hannah Montana would be on. I watched it because BRC was on it. I found it was pretty good.
My friend's 12 y/o daughter got her latest CD and they knew I liked BRC so they let me listen to it. At first I was totally amazed by this young girl who is still a girl, yet more mature than so many adults I know. And, then I realized the Miley is a product of her parents; who are good people; great people even. Full of heart and goals, morals and love.
And, then the more I listened to Miley the more I was so touched, to the point of goosebumps at some of her very powerful lyrics; great messages for teens, but sung with heart. The beat and music was very catchy as well.
I came on Amazon to do some research about the album and that's when I discovered she wrote most of her songs on the Meet Miley CD! Now, I'm sooo amazed and proud. Our children are the future of our country, of our planet, of our World. If more children were as deep and honest as Miley, we would have nothing to worry about.
I am a 34 y/o adult female. And, I can say I LOVE THIS CD. And, I am not embarrassed or ashamed to say this.

Free Music Review: Great CD from a Great Young Performer....Go See Her Concert! Hit: 5 Stars
I agree with many of the adults on this site, Miley is an incredible talent. If you an adult who likes pop-rock you will be wanting to play this CD even when the kids aren't in the car. I recently took my 9-year-old to the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert for her birthday (had to pay $340 for two tickets on eBay) and it was worth every minute. That was two weeks ago and I play the CD almost daily. I have it in the car and often listen to it in the car on the way to work....and I'm a 49 year old dad who grew up on the Stones, Led Zeppelin, REM, U2, Pearly Jam, Madonna, Prince and most recently Green Day. It is power pop at its finest (granted, a few lyrics talk about walking through the halls at school, etc.). The only questionable thing on the album (I still call them albums) is that most of the songs talk about love which is a little surprising for a 14 year old. The thing I like is that if you didn't know she was 14, you'd think that the music was from a young 20's breakout pop artist. I only bought the CD to get my daughter used to the songs a few days in advance of the concert (which was a surprise birthday gift). My prediction is that Miley is the next Madonna or Gwen and will reach mainstream stardom if she keeps her head on straight the next 10 years. If you are questioning as an adult whether to shell out big bucks for her show (even from a broker) I say go for it and even take one of your kids along.
Free Music Review: The two greatest female vocalists ever? Hit: 5 Stars
I've heard some great music in my lifetime, in fact I front an incredible cover band, but this two disc set from these two girls is the greatest thing I've ever heard. It's like Pat Benatar and Burn's mom cut Cds and made them a two disc set. I'm not going to lie, when I heard the Hannah Montana disc, I went outside and rode my big wheel down a hill straight into a lightpole. Did I feel any pain? Of course not, I was just happy. I've hooked up a hot stereo system on big wheel so I can listen to it when I ride to work. I'm a game changing performer. So I get through the Hannah disc and after two weeks realize there is a second CD in the case. This girl named Miley Cyrus put a disc in the case too. She is related to Billy Ray Cyrus, who gave us akey breaky heart, which says to me that this girl has great jeans. This disc rocked even harder than the first one. I was doing cookies on big wheel in a burger king parking lot like someone was throwing fruit pies at your dog. It blew my flippin mind. My cover band, ice cold burritochanga, plays nothing but songs off of these two albums. Is it a tad creepy for a bunch of guys in their 30s to play these songs in front of college kids? Probably, but when you do things with pinache, good things happen. We are the definition of pinache. Average called me yesterday and asked if I could wire it some money, I declined.
Free Music Review: Great Music for Growing Girls Hit: 5 Stars
After listening to the first Hannah Montana album Hannah Montana or rather after my daughters blasted the first album for 8 straight months... I really did not want to like Miley Cyrus. But I had no choice (for a variety of reasons). It wasn't until I found myself listening to the album in my car (without my daughters) that I realized I was hooked!
When we got the second album, we were so addicted to the first that we did not like the second album dfor about a day. But then... all of the sudden... we knew all of the words to the songs and the girls kept requesting certain songs (Nobody's Perfect). Now, we are always listening to both Hannah Montana albums and coming from a mom who has never liked teenie bopper music, that says a lot.
All of this music is fun to listen to, has a great beat, a clean and empowering message and a positive impact on my girls. The songs are not melancholy or dramatic like some teen music can be, but happy and energizing. I highly recommend both of these albums for anyone who has daughters. It is great fun for them and you won't mind the screeching of their little voices as they sing along because you will be singing too!
