Not being a huge fan of jazz, I was pleasantly suprised by this collection. Harry has taken the traditional carols like "Silver Bells" and "Frosty the Snowman" and turned them into catchy tunes. I especially liked his rendition of "Blue Christmas", where he incorporates his big-band style while remaining true to the traditional version. This CD was a joy to listen to over the holidays and will be enjoyed by us for years to come!Free Music Review: Wheres Jingle Bells?

I love the new Harry Connick Jr. CD. It is very reminiscent of his first Christmas album. However, there is an extra track "Jingle Bells" that is only included if you purchase the CD from Target. As far as I can see, Amazon is not offering this version. If you can live without this track, then buy it from Amazon. However if you are a Harry Connick Jr. fan (like myself) you'll make the trip to Target to get the complete version.Free Music Review: Cheering about this HOLIDAY CHEER !

Unfortunately, since Sinatra can no longer grace us with a new collection of seasonal recordings, the next best thing is . . . HARRY CONNICK JR. The musical production on this CD outshines the prior collection of seasonal recordings created by HARRY CONNICK JR.
This CD shall fast become a classic staple in the musical catalogue of Holiday recordings. Jazz influenced Pop at it's best ! The perfect holiday recording for a new generation.

I have enjoyed his music for years but never bought an album (I'm a tightwad ;) yet when a friend couldn't stop raving about this one and loaned it to me for a party, I was hooked. I begged for it as an early Christmas present, and now it gets played over and over again. My son and husband like it, too, and we hardly ever like the same stuff. This is without a doubt one of the best Christmas CD's I have heard!!! Harry knows how to have fun and enjoy the holiday. This music will help kick up the spirts at any holiday party or when you want to dance by yourself!!!It is a shame that I keep seeing Whitney Houston reviews when I want to read about Harry's CD. I guess if Whitney could sell CD's on her own she wouldn't have to send her people over here to try and sell her CD.
