As far as soundtracks to better-than-usual film "bio"-flicks go, this is a gem.
Mercurial. Ghostly. Haunting. Creepy. Brilliantly scored. Buy it if only for the two jaw-dropping Sinead O'Connor songs (really, doesn't this iconic woman make all sorts of projects SHINE brighter when she simply SINGS?), and the wrenching "capture" of the little street-singer urchin who should probably have mega-recording contracts by now, if they can find him.
A must-have for soundtrack collectors. It works on its own as a moody-day disc. If you've seen the film and listen to the soundtrack in retrospect, get-out the hankies. IDEAL.

After watching the movie "Veronica Guerin," and hearing the music I just had to have the soundtrac!!! Being of Irish decent, this movie touched me deeply and held me on the edge of my chair! To see what this lady went through to try and bring justice to the people that were robbing people of their life was amazing! The music score was just amazing and really enhanced the movie. Traditional music and non-traditional music of Ireland just set the tone! This is a must own for your collection and will allow you to travel to the emerald Island in your mind and heart and soul!!!!!Free Music Review: Veronica Guerin

Saw the film and just had to buy the music. It's based on a sad true story and the music really brings out something of the futility to the brutal killings that have gone on in Ireland over the years. Very moving and thoughtful music. Sinead O'Conner sings beautifully here and 'Bad News' with singing by the young lad Brian O'Donnell (the story of his inclusion is given on the CD - amazing) is brilliant.Free Music Review: Thought provoking

Veronica Guerin - Sound track
Listening to the soundtrack takes you straight back to the film. It is thought provoking, deeply emotional music that once you have seen the film you never forget the music. The funeral march especially, at the end of the film; the music relives the film all over again. Sinead O'Connor is brilliant as the songstress in the soundtrack.

Most often I don't write reviews but this sound track is so tender and special to us after seeing the movie of the same name that I decided to add my 2 cents.My husband who is new to singing and guiter playing has learned to play and sing it in the gaelic version. This took a lot of playing over and over and over and despite that I still love One More Day.
