I've always been a fan of Nilsson since I first heard "Everybody's Talking" back in '69 and then I read that The Beatles were his biggest fans. Nilsson was a singer's singer, he could sing so well and had a great voice range. He also had a quirky sense of humor. This CD captures all his finest works in one CD. There are a couple of songs from the Nillson Shmeilsson CD that aren't here that I also enjoyed, but these 20 songs are all great. Along with Eveybody's Talkin', these feature the best songs off all his albums, My favorites: Everybody's Talkin', Me and My Arrow, Coconut, The Moonbeam Song, My Old Desk, Cuddly Toy etc. Actually there isn't a bad cut on this CD. It's no mistake that when members of the Beatles were asked who their favorite singer as well as their favorite band was - the answer to both questions was "Nilsson". Harry Nilsson, with his multi-octave voice and catchy songwriting skills, made him one of the great underrated geniuses of his time. Great CD,,,would recommend it to anyone who likes to take it easy once in awhile,,,"Remember" is a great Christmas song but I listen to it all year round,,,wonderful music

This guy has a talent that surpassed the ordiantry by miles...too bad he got caught up in the swirling dervishness of Hollywood, and spun out...in any even a helluva a talent.....worth smiling to .....
