I grew up listening to the Point and watching the VHS and it had been several years since I had enjoyed it. I decided to order the CD and the DVD and it's amazing how poignant Nilsson's message still is after all these years. My son and I have both enjoyed the cartoon and the audio CD. Its really great to be able to get hold of music you heard years ago and havent been able to get.
The point is one of those unforgettable records from years gone by and to hear it again was a treasure.
Both for kids and adults its takes you on a journey that delivers stories with moral undertones at many levels. This CD is highly recomended

I remember this music from my childhood (thanks Mom!) and now more than 34 years later I ordered and received "The Point!" to share with my daughter. Her reaction to "Me and my arrow" was a big smile. Hearing it again put a smile on my face and that of my wife. I listened to this album as a kid (yes, on an album, remember those) over and over and over. Since the day I threw out my record player I've been dieing to get a copy on cassette and then CD. I'm so excited to see this re-released and I highly recommend it. The songs are catchy and well written. The story is charming and has a point!Free Music Review: One of my very favorites!
