Free Music Review: Something wicked this way comes.
Hit: 5 Stars

Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Something wicked this way comes.

Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing.

Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Something wicked this way comes.

In the cauldron boil and bake,
Fillet of a fenny snake,
Scale of dragon, tooth of wolf,
Witches' mummy, maw and gulf.

Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble

Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble
Double, double, toil and trouble
Fire burn and cauldron bubble

Something wicked this way comes.

Free Music Review: Harry Potter and the most Beautiful score ever.
Hit: 5 Stars

The only thing tacky about this review is the title that I have given it! Apart from that, Williams' new score is sheer brilliance. He has taken a drastic step, a gamble if you will, with this soundtrack, but as usual he has pulled it off. When I first heard that Williams was using Medieval Motiffs for the most part of his score, I tried to imagine them, but they compared to nothing with the real McCoy. His theme for Buckbeak is a towering achievement, a soaring, excellent piece of music. His theme in the track "A window to the past" is wonderfully sad. A truly note worthy track has got to be Aunt Marge's Waltz, it starts off slow and quiet, and typical Williams, builds to an out-of-control, frenzied conclusion. His use of Shakespeare for the song, "Something Wicked this way comes" is also remarkable. I would recommend this cd to any lover of music. Brilliant. The Maestro is back!

Free Music Review: Just amazing.

John williams does it again for HP. Even though some of the older themes are not included, there are still some of them lingering around, and a few new ones includiing one with a theme that is dramatic and sad, but so beautiful, this theme is done in the Orchastra version and once in a while a flute. Also putting in new things that actually sound like the Star wars Cantina in the first Star wars A new hope, which you would think wasn't right for HP, but when you think about it, and fans of the books would know this that when that music is played it's the night bus scene which is supposed to be crazy and funny, so it fits perfectly. They still have the quiet HP Beginning theme but they dropped some other beautiful themes but the new ones are just as good. Overall it's a perfect cd. No mistakes all perfect. They also keep the same type of music for the battles as they did in the first two.

Free Music Review: Third Time's the Charm (not that we needed one...)
Hit: 5 Stars

I absolutely LOVE the soundtrack for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

PoA is my favorite of the Harry Potter books and I was hoping that the movie would do it justice. If the movie itself follows the soundtrack's quality, I don't think people have anything to worry about. This soundtrack is different from the previous two, but it is still distinctly from a Harry Potter film. "The Knight Bus" brings in the sounds of jazz music wonderfully and I am totally in love with the "Double Trouble" track. "A Window to the Past" deserves special mention as it is the one track that calmed me down after getting so worked up over how great the rest of the album is (sort of like "Fawkes the Pheonix" does for Chamber of Secrets).

All in all, an awesome soundtrack and I can't wait to see how the music fits in with the rest of the movie!

Free Music Review: Wonderful!
Hit: 5 Stars

I must admit, when I first heard this soundtrack, I didn't enjoy any of it actually. I think one of the reasons was I had just got the Van Helsing soundtrack, which had a totally different taste than this. But I turned my attention towards this score, cause I thought, it's John Williams, I'll give him another try, cause he's just amazing. So I started listening to it again, and I haven't stopped since. It's much different than the previous two, with only Hedwig's Theme showing up in the beginning as usual, and once more in another track. Everything else is new music, and John Williams is a master of making beautiful and memorable themes, and it shows in this score. It's one of my favorites now, but everything new he comes out with is one of my favorites. John Williams brings us another memorable score. If you haven't bought it, buy it!
