At the time of this writing, there is only one other review of this piece of music. I've been listening to this weekly for a couple of months now, it gotta lo-fi, crunching groove that doesn't sound like much else. I remember the first time I heard the track "Coleen" and it just grabs your attention... "That Kind of Man" sounds like a track you'd hear over the next Quentin Tarantino film credits or something. One of those records that should be on the radio, but isn't. One day, hopefully, a track from this album will be featured in a commercial, popular TV show, etc, and everyone will be going "who does that one song?" Hear it first, buy it today! At least buy the mp3 download for the two aforementioned tracks, you won't be sorry if you like 70's funk-boogie with a extra dash of rock. Free Music Review: Great Funk and Furious Rock

If you are wanting something that sounds straight from the 70's with crushing drums, scratchy vocals and hard guitar rifts, then snag this little gem. A nice blend of garage rock and funk. Great Vengeance and Furious Fire is the first album by Heavy. That Kind of Man, and Colleen are my personal favorites; but the entire album kept my attention. Looking forward to future works by this band.
