Free Music Notes for Hedwig and the Angry InchFree Music Review: Hedwig rocks, and yet still has good lyrics. Hit: 5 Stars
I love this cd. Each song is different and original, making it one of my favorite cds of all time. Sometimes songs can have only great music, but this also had heartfelt lyrics, and the voices are incredible. John Cameron-Mitchell definitely made a great cd! Origin of love is one of my favorite tracks because it encompasses Hedwig's entire philosophy. I recomend this to anyone who's looking for a new cd to have on an endless loop.
Free Music Review: Rock & Roll Bliss! Hit: 5 Stars
I doesn't get much better than this. For movie/show fans, there are some interesting extra songs on this CD that enhance it a great deal - I especially like "In Your Arms Tonight." It is by far my favorite CD right now, and I can only think of one minor complaint: I don't especially like the order of the songs. Everything else is perfect, and I can't even get sick of it. Buy this CD today - you won't regret it.
Free Music Review: Give it a try! Hit: 5 Stars
Despite the transvestites and botched sex-change operation, it's really a love story and a search for identity. Don't be fooled by the "parental advisory" warning on the broadway case CD. Truly, one of the *BEST* show soundtracks I've heard, and I've heard many. Fantastic lyrics, catchy tunes, incredible actors in the movie. PS - Music fan from Seattle who gave it one star, did you even WATCH the movie?!
Free Music Review: Loving Hedwig! Hit: 5 Stars
Fans of the movie "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" will obviously love this soundtrack. However, the stirring music and powerful lyrics provide a wonderful listening experience for any audience. I highly recommend this soundtrack because of the range of emotions that place you down in the lowest depths with Hedwig at her worst and lift you high with hopeful romanticism as she finds herself. Give it a try!!!
Free Music Review: great rockumentary soundtrack...all the songs from the movie Hit: 5 Stars
including both versions from tommy gnossis and hedwig for the theme song.as soon as i saw the movie, i rushed to amazon and bought the soundtrack. i'm not sure there is any more to say, however, even if you haven't seen the movie, the soundtrack is in the same genre as songs from rocky horror - in other words, very rock-esque and with meaningful and fun lyrics. good companion to the book as well.
