Free Music Notes for Heroin Diaries SoundtrackFree Music Review: Amazing Soundtrack! Hit: 5 Stars
I have listened to A LOT of music in my life and I have rarely heard anything that grabbed my attention as quickly as this soundtrack did. There isn't anything about it that is lacking. The lyrics are amazing and are supported by some incredible music. There is a curious mix of rock, classical and carnival that totally works! Thanks to Sixx:A.M. for putting this soundtrack together and intense blessings to Nikki Sixx! If he didn't have a Life After Death none of us would be able to share this experience with him! If you haven't done it yet, check out 'The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star'. Reading that will bring more clarity to the music and the sales of both benefit and awesome charity - Running Wild in the Night.
Free Music Review: Phenomenal Piece of Music! Hit: 5 Stars
Wow...what a phenomenal album! This album, which is the soundtrack to Nikki Sixx's book The Heroin Diaries, is hands down the best piece of work ever put out by the artist. The music, even without the lyrics, paint such a vivid picture that it takes you right where Nikki was during that part of his life. Not many albums can present that in the way that this album does.
If you're looking for an intelligent album that portrays the darkest times of the man known as Nikki Sixx, pick up this album. You'll be taken away in the brilliance of this story that comes to life through the music.
Kudos to James Michael and D.J. Ashba who lend their musical tallent to this project. They really bring this project to life.
Free Music Review: Easily 5 stars Hit: 5 Stars
I didn't even know this CD came out until I heard it in my friends car, upon which I instantly got it.
This CD is about Sixx's experience on heroin. The music is very dark and very powerful. It seems to be a hybrid of glam and metal, very unique. I'm not quite sure who to recommend this CD to... the emotion and pain of the lyrics sends chills down my spine. And yet in the same way its inpiring, that one can overcome an impossible obstacle. When listening to this CD everything else seems unrealistic, even the worst problems in my life are a shadow under Sixx's addiction.
Hands down 5 stars, if you don't think it sounds interesting at least listen to what you can on amazon, its worth hearing.
Free Music Review: Sixx In The Mixx Hit: 5 Stars
Two words...Blown Away!!!!!! This has to be one of the most intense albums I have picked up in recent times.I'm a big fan of The Crue and always look forward to anything from any member.Must say this was an amazing surprise.Really, from beginning to end, there is not one weak song. All the songs are powerful and have something to say.If you like the Crue and Nikki Sixx songwriting, what are you waiting for, pick it up NOW!!!!!!There are the standouts,of course.X-Mas In Hell,Van Nuys,Life Is Beautiful,Pray For Me,Accidents Can Happen,Heart Failure,Courtesy Call and Permission. The latter two, perhaps the best songs on the album.I give a solid 5!!!!!!
Nikki SIXX is definitely back in the Music Review: CAN'T GET ENOUGH!!! Hit: 5 Stars
Nikki has always been good but there is no way he could have done this with Motley Crue. DJ Ashba and James Michael make this perfect. I have never seen a soundtrack to a book. The songs really go with the chapters. Brilliant idea, awesome music. But then again--IT'S NIKKI SIXX!!! He's like the god of rock and DJ and James are really good too. I listen to this C.D. everyday. I love every song on there but Life is Beautiful is in my opinion the best song on there! Even if you don't buy the book you could still enjoy this but it's neat to read the chapter and then listen to the song that goes with it and then you realize why that song is where it is on the disc, the music really complete the chapters.
