With a new batch of talent, and a new direction for disney, this musical has proven to be their most successful. I defiantly agree. Sure this album is childish and very one-dimensional. But that is the essential appeal. I'm almost an adult, and defiantly don't fall into the tween-generation, but I still found this movie and CD very entertaining. The songs are catchy and most likely awe-inspiring for the young generation. I have a feeling that High School Musical is here to stay. This album was the highest selling album of the year, and I can probably see why. Many of careers have been started from this, and with a creation of a Broadway Stage version, I think that many more will be started in the future. This is a must have for those who love cutsie, infectious, and juvenile fun!Free Music Review: Great Tunes

High school musical is the Disney Family version of "Grease". Our two young kids love the movie and the songs are very catchy. We even sing along and think the songs are great. This CD has 2 cds. The first CD contains all the main sings from the movies. The second CD is a karaoke (CD-G format) where you have the lyrics shown on screen, so you can singalong to all the tunes from the film.
Lyrics are included in the folder along with a small film poster.
Sweet film, sweet songs.
It isnt a "Grease" type musical and it isnt a "Phantom of the opera""" type musical. Its a Disney musical for the entire family.

This CD is way better than the original one!!! Well, first of all, the CD cover is way prettier. And you also get a free ringtone (Get cha head in the game) and a free locker poster! There's also a Get cha head in the game music video by B5 if you put the first CD in your computer. Well, to be frank, the quality of the video is kind of blurry, but it is still awesome. Besides, this CD is only like 2 dollars more expensive than the original one, so I think it is worth it. I mean, think about it, you will get one more CD and many free stuff! :-)Free Music Review: Great CD for Kids - and Parents Too

Hi Parents - This CD is great. I bought this for my 4 & 5 yr old daughters. This CD is good for kids because it is a change from the typical kid songs that you hear all the time, yet does not have the adult language of popular youth songs today.
The songs are pretty catchy and as a Dad of two daughters, I would even admit that some of the songs are enjoyable to listen too.
A great buy for the money!
Free Music Review: Must have for HSM fans

My five year old recently got hooked on the HSM chain, and she had to have the movies AND cd's, so that not only can we watch every second while we're home, but listen to the music every second in the car. Sounds awful, right? Well, amazingly, it's NOT awful, they're great, and I got hooked too. The movies and music are addictive, and we love 'em. If you've seen HSM, you need this cd!
