I love this CD and I'm lokking forward to seeing the movie three nights in a row! I can't use words to describe it!
Start of Something New: 10 Amazing Troy(Zac) and Gabriella(Vanessa) are amazing together.
Get'cha Head in The Game: 10 Troy is great in this song.
What I've Been looking For: 9 Ashley Tisdale is a little sqeaky, but Lucas Greebeal is great.
What I've Been looking For Reprise: 10 I love Troy and Gabriella together.
Stick to the Status Quo: 10 I didn't listen to it the first time I listened to the CD, but I finally listened I now I love it.
When There Was Me and You: 10 Vanessa is amazing by herself.
Bop to the top: 10 I actually like this song.
Breaking Free: 10 amazing!
We're all in this Together: 10 so upeat and fun!
I Can't Take My Eyes Off You: 8 It is growing on me.
The rest are karioke, but the Get'cha Head in The Game by B5 is really bad.
Free Music Review: BEST MUSICAL SINCE GREASE

I'm also in my 40's and grew up watching GREASE with Travolta & Olivia Newton John. I have not seen such awesome dancing and music ever since that time until now.......HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. My kids love the Disney Channel, so I kind of got hooked in with them. They have excellant quality shows & movies. If you watch regulary, each story written whether a show or movie has an important message which we can all learn from. They do this in a fun and "non-preaching" way which I feel can really reach out to the kids of today.
Anyway! This movie rocks, the choreograher/Director Ortega ROCKS! The Dancing is UNBELIEVEABLE !!!!! The Music is unbebelievable. That's why I'm running to Amazon to get my copy now. I haven't bought a new CD in years! I just can't seem to sit still everytime I listen to the songs, I'm either swaying to the ballads or bopping my head and body to the hip hop songs.
Catch the rerun when Disney shows it again & Run to get your copy of its soundtrack!

This cd is awesome. I luv it. Very good songs. And they are all very talented singers!! The best songs on this cd are 'Breaking Free', 'Bop to the Top', 'We're All in This Together', 'Stick To The Status Quo', and 'What I've Been Looking For'. 'Bop to the Top' is one of my personal favorites, it's a great song to dance to. So is 'We're All in This Together'. There's also another songs called 'I Can't Take My Eyes Off of You'. It wasn't in the movie, though. It a really good song and it's sung by Zac Efron, Vaness Anne Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, and Lucas Grabeel (Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay, and Ryan). And there's also the version of 'Get'cha Head in the Game' by B5. And also the karaoke version of 'Start of Something New' and 'Breaking Free'. But it's better to get the Limited Edition High School Musical cd. Parents, if your kids liked the movie 'High School Musical', then they'll LOVE the cd, trust me!!!

Free Music Review: Absolutely the best Disney production!

I absolutely loved this movie, and I am 21 years old and a college under-grad. However, I absolutely thought the whole cast was awesom and their talents wer unbelievable. For those of you who do not believe that each character sung their own part you obviously have not done your homework. If you listen to Troys voice when he is singing in the movie accapella to Gabriella then you would know that that is his voice. Also, I just happen to see a behind the scenes shot of each character in the recording studio. But, whatever! As ashamed as I am to admit it, being a college student, I loved this movie. It was abssolutely wonderful adn the story between Gabriella and Troy could not have been better. They definately need to make a 2nd one, same characters of course, as well as same actors. I love the cd, own it, and I think this is a movie that will be hard to top by the disney channel. It was perfect!!! and yes, Zac Efron is not bad looking at all.Free Music Review: LUVS IT!!!

this movie has become 1 of my faves!!the soundtrack is 1 of the reasons i watched it....the other wuz that my frnds were all sayin how good it wuz...they had watched it the 1st night it played and we were at the library and they were printing out lyrics...once we were out of the library the were singin the songs and i thought "hey, if the songs r this good then maybe the movie is 2..."so i believe it wuz the next night when it played again and i just fell in luv w/ the movie!!i mean it has comedy, romance, and music all mixed into 1!the characters r great and the story line and the choreography(i dont know how 2 spell that!lol) and just everything!!im patiently waitin til the movie comes out on DVD...May 23 2 b exact and i am going 2day 2 buy the soundtrack...this movie is much better than 5*S but since thats as high as i can go....well 2 sum it up i think the movie is great and i would DEFINATLY recommend it 2 others who havent seen it!!
