Free Music Review: GREAT!

This is simply a wonderful musical, great music, wonderful acting- I couldn't possibly ask for more. The plot is basic but amusing (even though it's easy to guess the ending it's fun to see how everything unfolds.) It's got some really great songs that include What I'm Looking For, Breaking Free, and my personal favourite Get Your Head In The Game! A must see- and album by if you become a quick fan, which is highly likely.
Very highly recommended. Music and romance lovers will love this movie, even though it's romantic in a subtle way. However, there was one problem that I spotted with this movie: they end the movie in an unsatisfying way. They audition and the lead roles are chosen, but they neglect to actually show you the real musical, which I think would have been a even more delightful addition to this movie.

I have a 10 yr old boy & a 7 yr old girl. Ever since this movie aired they have been singing the songs, so when the CD became available I bought 2! My daughter learned all the words in no time by listening to the CD in her room and singing along - just like I did as a kid with my favorite albums!!! My son is not shy dancing all over the house! AND they perform duets together! I enjoyed the movie & the CD just makes it that much better as I think back to my High School Days. We drove 2 friends & their mom home from a party the other day & when they heard we had the CD they went crazy - begging their mom to buy it for them. When we put it on they were all singing! When my kids ask to play this CD in the car I am more than happy to do so cause I'm singing right along there with them - its pretty cool.

High School Musical Was a really good movie. Disney did a great job on it! This soundtrack is fantastic. I didn't know these stars could actually sing until you hear this! My all time favorite songs are Get'cha Head In The Game and What I've Been Looking For. The voices of these teens are spectacular. I have never heard any teen better than them. The songs are so catchy and I sing them non-stop. In fact I even printed off the lyrics on [...] I am really pleased with my product. If you are a teenager you just have to at least listen to these songs.

Free Music Review: To say the least.....brilliant.

DO NOT EVEN QUESTION THE NEED TO BUY THIS CD!!! Seriously, unless you've just spent the past year living on mars (PS, welcome back), you could not have escaped the worldwide hoopla that has surrounded High School Musical. This sort of thing happens for a reason! This movie, is almost entirely faultless, even in aspects that in other movies most would immediately point out and pick apart, because in this movie, it just works.
Of course a large part of this success came from the fact that it IS a musical, and the music is, to say the least, brilliant. It's catchy, it's tuneful, it's got the hooks, the looks, everything you want in a good musical. So buy this album, and you will not be disappointed!!

High School Music is great for kids and adults, especially those adults who at one time or another have been involved in doing something in the performing arts in school. So many memories come to mind of how exciting and crazy it can get when trying to do a show! My little girl and I have been talking about school and how important it is to learn but at the same to have fun as well. The drama class at David Douglas High School, back in the day when Mrs. Reynolds was the drama teacher, afforded many sutdents/aspiring actors the opportunity to showcase their talent and have alot of fun doing it! High School Musical makes me think about those days and remember the good times that I shared with some great friends!
