I can't remember purchasing a CD that I can listen to and love in its entirety since A Perfect Circle's "Mer de Noms." HIM is a band that has been able to outdo themselves with each album they release. "Love Metal" is by far my favorite of all their full length efforts. It's truly refreshing to hear a band with straight-forward rock hooks, no frills, and zero gimmick.Free Music Review: LM

I cannot get enough of this cd I have played it more then any other HIM cd I own! They haven't made anything that could top it. It is their heaviest album by far. With each song the cd gets better and better you can clearly hear the Black Sabbath and Type O Negative influences on songs like the path and Endless dark. This was the first CD I ever purchased by HIM, & it is by far my favorite. I actually had to go & buy another copy because the first one got scratched up from being switched back and forth between cars & CD players. The musicality of this album is so creative & fresh. This is easily my favorite album by HIM and the track "Endless Dark" is my favorite song from the band. If you haven't ever bought one of their albums, this is the one to start with. Great hard rock music mixed with cool vocals deliver a cd filled with unforgettable songs. I guarantee that it will hook you after one listen.
