I puchased this cd at a store in florida. It is so great. All my friends borrow it and try to steal it. I would reccomend this cd for everybody. It combines the slowness for people with a softer side and the hardcore music that HIM really is. Him is my favorite band. I am only 13 years old and i've been listening to them for years. I love HIM greatest band ever. I would reccomend this cd.Good songs:

let i say one thing: him is not about bam. i am a fan since the first album, and i can say that the band is just using him to get famous in the states, infact the last album sounds completely like all the american bands..and it sucks my ass!
all that you american guys can say about HIM is about bam or emo, HIM is not emo and is not about bam as well!!
i already knew you couldn't understand something different than your stupid emo bands. the good music is always came from europe, and this time from finland.
please, don't listen to them, because like someone already said, it would be just a waste of time and money, and for you american, also a waste of style!

This is definately an album worth getting. If you're interested in poetry and bringing it to life, get into Finnish band HIM. Singer Ville Valo battled a hard road to bring his thoughts to fruition. Many people believe HIM is all about devil worship and death, but these rumours need to be deteriorated. HIM is about love and the torture of love as well as its beauty. I know Ville's lyrics have touched people young and old, married and single, from every nation. After all, love makes the world go round!
Not all of HIMs music might appeal to you, but at least try it and see, you might be pleasantly surprised. Listen to Ville's poetry and escape into his world for a while. It's beautiful, full of mystery and hope.

Anyone who has listened to this music would know that Him Rules.
This band has proven that they are more than just a Goth Band, their music reaches audiences far and near. I will be the first to admit i became a fan after hearing the music on Viva La Bam but thats not a bad thing.
I have all their cd's and i have seen them in concert and they are a great band that has alot of talent. I liked every song on each of their cd's and was not disappointed. I hate when people say that they suck its obvious that they are narrow minded and didnt really even listen to the music at all. I say to anyone thinking of buying this cd or any other HIM cd .. do it because you will love it!!!!

Free Music Review: Great Gothic Band

Yes, I said it, Gothic. Gothic ways always implied love and death, such as William Shakespear. They are truely Gothic. Anyway, it's a good thing Bam has been promoting this band hard core, because I heard of them before, and tried to get some people to hop on the bandwagon, but failed. Thanks to Bam, tons of people are HIM crazed now, and they have every right to be. Their musically is simply so amazing, and genuine you can hear it in Ville's vocals. One of my personal favorite songs ever has got to be "Join me in Death," which reminds me of, again, a piece of literature Willian Shakespear could have written put into song form. A must have for anyone who respects anything a bit different.
