Free Music Notes for Single CollectionFree Music Review: One of the best HIM products out there! Hit: 5 Stars
Probably the best idea HIM has ever had. Now if you don't like the fact that they are all on sepret CD's, just burn them onto one. Look out for the Heartache Every Moment/Close to the Flame single. And if I had to pick just one song it would be It's all Tears(Drown in this Love) (Unplugged) It's All Tears(Drown in this Love)4/5: A little to short with only two songs, but both are great. Wicked Game 4/5:A good single but Wicked Game(666 Remix) is almost identical to the first Wicked Game on the single. When Love and Death Inbrace 3/5: The worst single in the set. All the songs sound basically the same. Join Me 5/5: Amazing single, includes unrealesed and live tracks. Contains best song in the set. (look above) Right Here in my Arms 3 1/2/5: The highlight of this single is definatly the Ressurection demo 'I've Crossed Oceans of Wine to Find You.' Other than that the demo is a let down. Not even containg a full version of Right Here in My Arms. Poison Girl 5/5: 3 good live tracks. And a full version of Poison Girl. Gone With the Sin 4/5: With a really good acoustic version of For You, and a decent live track. But the highlight is Gone With the Sin [OD Version]. Pretending 4/5: Only reason that this single received a 4, is because the first two tracks sound basically the same. In Joy and Sorrow 5/5: The In Joy and Sorrow(string version) completly makes up for not having the album version. All the other tracks are great. Heartache Every Moment/Close to the Flame 5/5: The best single in the set. Along with the 2 title tracks, it includes 5 great acoustic tracks.
Free Music Review: Some of the most beautiful music I've heard, save Beethoven. Hit: 5 Stars
In all honesty, I'm not, by any means, considered a "Goth." I have none of the "traits" or "characteristics" of the Goth "culture."
I DO, however, LOVE Goth music. The melodies. The harmonies. The sheer, natural beauty of the sound. Cruxshadows. HIM. Bella Morte. Some are harsher than others, but just about all Goth music is welcome to me.
H.I.M. captured my ears while I was hanging out at a friend's house and he played me the cover "Wicked Game." I was immediately entranced by and bought Razorblade Romance and Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights right away. That was roughly six months ago and I still listen to them constantly, amidst my other favorite genres of music.
Bottom line is, if you consider yourself a lover of HIM, no matter your choice of culture or background etc., and if you have the money to spend, you should purchase this Collection, as I will within the next 2 minutes. No matter what others' reviews on the matter, do what you think you'll enjoy. Especially follow through with what you KNOW you will enjoy for many months, if not years, to come.
Oh, and I did NOT know that Bam Margera's favorite band was HIM until a few months after I purchased the albums. I was quite shocked, actually, because I love the show and have never noticed Ville Valo make any cameos. So my rating is not biased towards the show, or anyone else's opinion. HIM is just enchanting music. End of story.

Free Music Review: must have for true fans Hit: 5 Stars
got this singles set as an early xmas gift and honestly it is fabulous. the singles themselves are works of art, the music and lyrics are valo's deepest desires and emotions, as well as his incredible vocal talents manifested in one complete body of work that is the HIM singles collection. not only are you treated to versions of the songs that are tweaked in different variations...but you are also given the chance to hear ville sing with only acoustic guitar to back him up and orchestral versions of already beautiful songs. there are also some interesting remixes that have caused me to give the rare song that i wasnt real fond of a second look, for example,i never cared a whole lot for the song "the Heartless" but when its coupled with a techno-type backbeat it is awesome. there is alot of recreated brillant music on these cd's. i absolutely recommend this set esp. for anyone who wants to hear even more of what the ever sexy mr. valo has to offer...my absolute fav. has to be a slowed down and beautiful version of the song "lose you tonight"...it is positively superb.

Free Music Review: Perfect Box Set , definitely worth the money... Hit: 5 Stars
This singles collection is great. If you're a fan of HIM you shouldn't even think once about buying this album. It is a perfect box set. It comes with 10 singles all released from "Greatest love songs vol 666" to "Deep Shadows and Brilliant Highlights" I've noticed that some reviews are complaining about the 10 cds and not being all on two cds. But this keeps the collection authentic, it's like you have all ten original singles in your hands. As I said before this is worth your money if you're a fan, and if you're not yet a fan you should buy their studio albums and then buy this collection.
