Free Music Notes for History Boys (Mcup)Free Music Review: See the movie, listen the OST Hit: 5 Stars
When I saw for the first time "The history boys" film, I loved it. It's a great history, a beautiful movie. All the action happens in the eighties, so all the music you hear in the movie comes from that great era. You can hear The Smiths, The Cure, New Order, The Clash, Aztec Camera, The Pretender and so much more. But we can also hear the great tunes singing by the cast in the picture ("Bewitched", "Bye, bye Blackbird" and others), so it's an amazing Soundtrack. See the movie and listen the OST.
Free Music Review: See This Film & Buy This Soundtrack Hit: 5 Stars
Seeing this film was a real delight. It's not often in our superficial society that we get to see men have authentic conversations about sexual desires.
The music; I can't say enough about the music as it thrust me right back to my college days as a DJ with The Smiths, The Clash, Echo & The Bunnymen; it is awesome music appropos for the time and this story.
What a journey!
Free Music Review: The History Boys Approve This Message Hit: 5 Stars
I love the film and the soundtrack includes (I think) all of the songs heard in the film, and maybe more. I love The Smith's song included ("This Charming Man"), as well as Rufus Wainwright's version of "Bewitched." This album has not a bad variety, and I haven't gotten tired of it yet. I almost like it better than the film.
Free Music Review: recent history... Hit: 5 Stars
...excellent movie ... wonderful soundtrack ... it's the only way I've found, to date, to get a recording of Rufus Wainwright's "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered" ...
