If any of you have any doubts about Hootie and the Blowfish, throw them away right now!! They are back. When I bought the cd, i hoped it would be awesome, but wouldnt be surpised if it stunk. But to my surprise, it rocked. You can tell in every song that so much work and time has been put into this album, and it really shows. This is quality music, nothing is better. I loved the newest "Hootie and the Blowfish" CD! I missed them so much while they were off doing other things. I have been a die-hard H&B fan since '94 when "Cracked Rear View" came out. Loved that CD and love this one just as much. If you ask me, it's a MUST HAVE for the Hootie and the Blowfish fan! Great having you back, guys! Hootie & The Blowfish's self-titled fifth album (counting their album of cover tunes) is a great CD/cassette. It features a couple of experiments with hip-hop-styled soul, but there's enough of their signature blend of CSNY, BROTHERS AND SISTERS-era Allman Brothers Band, mid-80s Simple Minds, and the Outlaws to make this a five-star album.Free Music Review: Well worth the wait!!

I agree with the others, we had to wait so long, but man, it was worth it!! Don't rush perfection. This one has taken the top spot on my list of all time favorites. By the third listen of Hootie's new CD, I was absolutely hooked. From beginning to end, as good if not better than anything they've ever done. It gets better & better with each run through. I can't wait for the tour. Favorites include everything on the CD. A must have !
