Horace Brown was an ol' school fave of mine...the music is just on point. This CD was great...music is smooth and rhythmic...definitely grown folks music...DEUCES...Free Music Review: Not that great an album, but worth it alone for "Taste Your Love"

There were lots of singers like him, and many of them had better albums to brag about, but this is still worth getting for his one big hit "Taste Your Love" a dreamy, if somewhat unrestrained sexcapade.
Note: Although this album was released in 1996, "Taste Your Love" was actually getting radio airplay as early as October of 1994.

Why Horace Brown didn't get the push he got with this album is beyond me! This is such a soulful driven album. Horace delivers on many of the songs, including Gotta Find a Way, Things We Do For Love, Think About You (that funky Puff Daddy-produced song), and many others. The efforts from Dave Hall, Puffy, Kevin Deane and others here are some dynamically done R&B songs with shades of hip-hop beats within it. The ballads have a mellow tone to them and Horace sings them nicely. Horace was promising on this debut and why he hasn't gotten the big break he wants is beyond me.
