Free Music Review: Love it!
Hit: 5 Stars

Only 1 CD.. The music is incredible..why not have a CD for every season.

Free Music Review: HOUSE ROCKS
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD has great songs on it.
I say if your a HOUSE fan you need it.

Free Music Review: A great soundtrack, but they left out quite a few songs!
Hit: 4 Stars

First of all, I bought this soundtrack off of Amazon back when I had another account listing, so forgive me that it doesn't say "Verified Purchaser" or whatever, you'll have to take my word for it!

Back story: I love this show, since the very first episode (I admit, I saw the pilot episode only after it was well into Season 3, and everyone was raving about it). I had heard about that "Bastard Doctor Show" a few times, and I had no idea if "House" was a euphemism for something else or what.

What really pulls it all together for me frequently in the shows and movies that I love, is the MUSIC. I love how they integrate it into each show as helping the show progress, or showing the conclusion with the music playing softly in the background, etc. This show is no different.

Track listing:

1. "Teardrop" by Massive Attack (Full version of opening credits' song)
2. "See the World" by Gomez ("Half-Wit")
3. "Walter Reed" by Michael Penn ("Fools For Love")
4. "Beautiful" by Elvis Costello ("Autopsy")
5. "Dear God" by Sarah McLachlan
6. "Feelin' Alright" by Joe Cocker ("Detox")
7. "Waiting on an Angel" by Ben Harper ("Lines in the Sand")
8. "Got To Be More Careful" by Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen ("Heavy")
9. "God, Please Let Me Go Back" by Josh Rouse
10. "Are You Alright?" by Lucinda Williams ("Fetal Position")
11. "Good Man" by Josh Ritter ("Human Error")
12. "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by Band From TV

However, the reasoning for 4 stars is obvious; they are missing quite a number of famous tracks that brought the show its fame! What about the iconic time when Baba O'Riley was featured, and we are introduced to Vogler? Or what about the "On Saturday Afternoons in 1963" by Rickie Lee Jones, which showed us the first light in House's world, and gave us the thought "Maybe he isn't such an a-hole after all...", at the end of the second episode in the first season titled "Paternity"?

A better track list, if you love House. You should get these songs as well if you loved the first season:

1. "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Rolling Stones (Pilot S1Ep1, "Honeymoon" S1Ep22, "Meaning" S2Ep1)
2. "On Saturday Afternoons in 1963" by Rickie Lee Jones ("Paternity" S1Ep2)
3. "One is the Loneliest Number" by Three Dog Night ("Occam's Razor" S1Ep3)
4. "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong ("DNR" S1Ep9)
5. "On Fire Like This" by Mutaytor ("Histories" S1Ep10)
6. "Baba O'Riley" by The Who ("Control" S1Ep14)
7. "Crazy World" by Daniel Moynahan ("Mob Rules" S1Ep15)
8. "It's Okay to Think About Ending" by Earlimart ("Role Model" S1Ep17)
9. "Happiness" by Grant Lee Buffalo ("Bribes and Bathwater" S1Ep18)
10. "Some Devil" by Dave Matthews ("Love Hurts" S1Ep20)
11. "Delia" by Blind Willie McTell ("Honeymoon" S1Ep22)

Did not do much research regarding songs on cd. Yes, I was disappointed. Maybe a third of the music was to my liking. The cd itself was in good condition. A few minor scratches.Jewel case was broken.
