Im a great fan of TLOTR, and im a big fan of soundtracks. This particular soundtrack is one of my favourites for its song for Rohan. Its violin is a great tune and it really suits them people. I had earlier purchased TLOTR-TFOTR, complete recordings and it too was awesome. Hearing teh original soundtracks is one thing, but when you get to hear the entire score that was played throughouot teh movie it enhances the mood ten fold. I plan to buy TLOTR-TROTK, complete recordings to finish off my collection. I highly recommend purchasing this soundtrack if you love TLOTR as much as I do.Free Music Review: Worth every $$$$

I have the original 1 disc soundtrack for The Two Towers and was hesitent about buying the complete recordings due to the price. Also because I figured that all the best music was on the single disc edition that came out 4 years prior to this release.
But the entirety of the score is outstanding, well worth the price I paid for it. The DVD audio is also very impressive but is only advantageous if you actually have a surround sound setup to play it on.
If you're on the fence about making this purchase then hesitate no more, you won't regret it!

Awesome soundtrack overall. Very well done and beautiful. Compared to the Fellowship soundtrack I'd have to rate this one below; not because it isn't as good. In fact, the Rohan music is some of the prettiest Shore did. Rather, there's less musical pieces on this soundtrack that outweigh the single-disc version. Fellowship had numerous pieces that were on the complete and not on the standalone that made it a far superior piece. This one, while still good, doesn't have as many amazing moments. If you love the LOTR trilogy by Peter Jackson, these 3 CD + 1 DVD is a fantasic way you have the complete recordings, all the songs and lyrycs from the original and extended version of the The Two Towers. So you can appreciate the beautifulnes of all the music that you can hear when you watch the movies. I expecting a lot the Return of the King edition with some songs that were not included in the previous version of CD.
Only the sender was not careful and the box set was damaged but the CDs were O.K. and also the DVD.

I can't really express how much I love this box set other than to say it is absolutely fantastic! It DOES contain all the music from the extended scenes and much more, including a 45 page booklet with in-depth explanation of the themes and beautiful pictures from the movie and instruments. Though I know bowling out about $75 for this is a bit much it is definitely worth it. The beautiful captivating music is there, along with the surround sound DVD. It's a masterpiece worth the price!
