Free Music Notes for The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers (The Complete Recordings)Free Music Review: Excellent CD Hit: 5 Stars
I love this CD. I usually have it playing in the background of my room. I bought the complete recordings of The Fellowship of the Ring, enjoyed that so much, that I bought this one as well. If you are a LOTR freak, like me, you'll love this CD. The music is beautiful and will allow you to follow the movie perfectly in your head. I was also delighted to hear Miranda Otto singing the funeral song from the movie. I can't wait for the next complete recordings set for ROTK.
Free Music Review: Missing? Hit: 5 Stars
Being a collector i held off from buying the first run versions of the soundtracks and am glad that the "Complete Recordings" are available. However in siting back and enjoying the second chapter in the LOTR trilogy i wonder why the Andy Serkis (as Gollum) vocal for "Rock And Pool" was omitted? Does anyone else notice this or any other missing tracks? Other than that, excellent adapation of an excellent score to an excellent movie. Can hardly wait for next years ROTK!
Free Music Review: Sound quality better than original soundtrack esp. on DVD audio Hit: 5 Stars
The sound quality on these recordings is improved over the original sountrack issue discs. When I play this through my dvd drive on my computer through my sound card that supports dvd audio playback, the sound is great, whether on 2 channel with headphones, or even more fun over 5.1 computer speakers. Do take advantage of the DVD audio if you have hardware to support it. Can't wait to hear 'The White Tree' in the hopefully forthcoming ROTK complete recordings.
Free Music Review: The Best Complete Soundtrack!! Hit: 5 Stars
If you liked the 1 CD soundtrack made by Howard Shore, this 3CDs + 1 DVD (with full score in Dolby 5.1) will translate you to the Middle Earth and let you live the Ent's March, The Wolves of Isengard's Attack, The Helm's Deep Battle and Aragorn's past as he faces his Dunedain nature, with no cuts and with all the exact parts of the film's soundtrack.
Is like watching the film in audio (but without SFX!! XD)...
You won't regret!
Free Music Review: Perfect! Hit: 5 Stars
Wow. That's all I can say about this music. I was a little nervous about spending around $100 on two CD sets (Fellowship and Two Towers CR) but it was such a relief listening to them. These sets are easily worth the money. Shore's music is beautiful. These scores are fantastic. If you are a fan of the movies or the original scores and are debating whether to get them or not, get them. You won't be disappointed.
