Having completely enjoyed the FOTR Complete Recordings, I treated myself to TTT Complete Recordings also. The liner notes are very helpful in understanding both the new leitmotifs in TTT and in the development of themes introduced in FOTR. I love both sets and hope to complete my collection soon!

The fact that these are scarce should indicate how incredible it is. It's one thing to listen to a sound track, and it's an entirely different thing to experience it in full digital surround sound. I love how you can literally sit, listen to the music, and visualize the movie scene-by-scene since this soundtrack is literally all of the music in the movie. LoR afficianados recommended this soundtrack to me, so I purchased it. Couldn't wait to hear it when it arrived. Was intended to be a Christmas gift for myself, but I didn't wait. Played it on my PC in hopes it would meet my expectations. It didn't. It far surpassed them! Amazing. Like watching the movie -- extended versions -- all over. Fantastic. Esta edición de la banda sonora de Las Dos Torres es completamente genial e imprescincible para todos los fans que se precien. Lástima que no la hayan distribuido en España. Pero os aseguro que no os arrepentireis de adquirirla en amazon, por que merece la pena tenerla. For those of you who loved the Lord of the Rings movies and soundtracks, this collection is for you. It's always dissapointing when soundtracks are released and all of the music isn't there. No LOTR fan should be without this collection. Here's hoping Return of the King becomes more accessible (you can't find it anywhere even though it has been released).
