Free Music Notes for Swing: Original Motion Picture SoundtrackFree Music Review: Lisa can sing anything! Hit: 5 Stars
This is definitely one of Lisa's best albums to date with her sultury, jazzy sounding voice. It is a nice treat to her Lisa's voice so capable of such an arrangement of jazzy-bluesy type songs and just plain fun swing. I love this CD, just because it is so different from anything else that Lisa has done in the past, yet her voice perfectly fits the type of songs on this Cd. Pour yourself a glass of whatever and sit back and enjoy the melodies!
Free Music Review: Lisa can do no wrong! Hit: 5 Stars
Lisa Stansfield can sing just about anything! Ever since she came out with her first album,I've been hooked! Her foray into swing just shows what's she's capable of doing. I enjoyed the movie, too. Just wish it had been released on DVD. I watched it on VHS! If you love Lisa Stansfield then I think you'll pretty much enjoy this soundtrack. Her version of Mack the Knife is awesome!
Free Music Review: Don't forget Clarence Clemons! Hit: 5 Stars
I'm the director of the film that this soundtrack is taken from. I'm biased about the music of course, Lisa and Ian did amazing work on it. What no one has mentioned is the phenomenal contribution from the very great Clarence Clemons, his sax stuff on this album is truly wonderful and quite unexpected. Enjoy.
Free Music Review: The British can really swing with the best Hit: 5 Stars
Lisa Stansfield proves that she can move from one musical genre to another with ease. It's good to see that a British artist in the 1990's can produce an album of swing that will be enjoyed by many in the next millennium. Her version of 'Mack the Knife' is the best by a woman that I have heard
Free Music Review: It is so good... Hit: 5 Stars
I don't know how to describe this album, it is so good. The best swing music I have ever heard.
