Like a fine wine Senor Ibrahim Ferrer only gets better with time. This gentleman's voice is nothing short of brilliant. If you are exploring Cuban or Latin music he should be your starting point. never before have I wanted to visit a place so bad after I listened to its music. After listening to Buena Vista Social Club, I went out and found this album on the shelves also. Ibrahim has a great voice, and the album is full of great music. If you enjoyed the Beuna Vista Social Club and arn't sure what other CD to pick up, this could be you gig. This album is a seamless transition from the Beuna Vista Social Club. Reuben Gonzalez' piano continues throughout the album. Slightly more mellow than the movie soundtrack, the record still feels great.
