Free Music Review: Very Cool CD!!!

This is anything but an average, typical debut album. But then again, after listening to Jed's "If These Shoes Could Talk", I don't think "average" or "typical" can describe this band's music at all! I was pleasantly surprised about many things on this album. For one, the lead singer has a very unique sound; at times soothing and laid back, and at other times aggressive and spirited. Her attitude and sound is much cooler and more original than many other female vocalists of today that sound as if they are trying to be like everyone else. In fact, this band as a whole has a sound all their own - from the instrumentation to the harmonies to the very insightful yet cool lyrics - they are definitely not copycats! Even if you normally only listen to music that has been 'tested and approved' for you on the radio or MTV, I am sure that you will like this album if you like music you can groove to, relate to, and make your day fun!!!
