I have 3 videos of Il Divo and I can attest that this concert is passionate, musically distinctive and energetic. I felt like I was right there in the concert hall being seranaded by the best damn singers in the world. The only thing I would have changed would be to have a real Grand Piano in the concert and maybe more instruments in the orchestra. I like how the compositions were connected musically and is the one reason why I find Il Divo fresh, modern but yet classical in touch. It is so good to see real singers perform but yet become part of the audience even those that watch at home. Please Il Divo make one more soon. This DVD/CD captured my concert experiences (An Evening with Il Divo) in 2009 so that I could happily relive them once again. They are amazing singers and amazing men. They enjoy what they are doing and I could feel it with every word sung every smile or the emotions seen on their faces as they reached out to the audience and pulled me in. They took me on an incredible journey where my heart opened and often I felt chills or goosebumps especially with the harmonies or when David Miller would hit those high notes that he does so well. I saw this concert seven times, and this DVD is as good as seeing Il Divo live.
I purchased 5 copies for gifts, and one for myself. As I was listening the the CD on my stero in the house I got back to Amazon and ordered a second copy for myself, because I want that CD in my car and in my house at all times.....
Watching this DVD is as entertaining as anything I have ever seen on my tv screen.
Sure glad I have that second copy, because I am sure I will wear out the first one.

Having been so fortunate as to attend a concert in Cleveland, Ohio, this brings back the magic of these four magnificent voices whose harmony and stage presence cannot be equaled. I have bought four copies already, and find it hard to give any away as gifts. I want them all for myself. I have at least one copy of everything they have ever made, and wait with anticipation the next CD or DVD.
The sound is faultless, and so are they. Would love to see the same treatment done with the Christmas concert, which I could not attend.

When I first opened the package, I saw the CD 1st and thought for sure I'd ordered a DVD... Alas, the DVD was neatly tucked behind and I was so happy. WOW, what a terrific performance. They've grown so much in just the past couple of years. I love how they interact with the audience. We just saw their Christmas show, December 13, 2009, at the Chevrolet Theatre (former Oakdale) in Wallingford, CT and it was excellent. Their 1st World Tour concert was in Wallingford Jan 31, 2006. How time flies! Definitely add this one to your collection.
