I've rented a cd of IIdivo from the local library -the christmas one.I have never fit in with my friends music tastes or my adult children or husband. I also have never understood Simon Cowle either. Well this is homecoming home nite for me. I now understand Simon's music tastes ---never his rude hurtful comments that tears the soul and heart out of a person--- anyway I have found my home in heaven listening to this cd and I ordered it at once from Amazoncom. Picked this CD up at Starbucks today, not knowing what I would get myself into, never heard of them - they just looked cute on the cover and then .... Oh boy! The perfect blend between Luciano Pavarotti and the Boston Pops!!!!!
I recommend this album to all who can enjoy and appreciate beautiful voices unwilling to be put only in either the opera or pop box. Reminded me a lot of the legendary live concert of the "Three Tenors" on the occassion of the Soccer World Cup in Italy a few years back. I will go now and get also their debut album and look forward to more beautiful music to come!!!!!
Free Music Review: A musical treat for the adult audience

I really enjoy most forms of music, with heavy metal and gangster rap being the key exceptions. Much of the country music and "pop" music is great to have on your car CD player. However, the Il Divo music just thrills me and brings me back to my youth when songs had more than one or two constantly repeated lines and voices melded together to produce real melody. The only problem is that if I play it in the car, my mind starts to wander to wonderful memories and perhaps my driving suffers. On the other hand, at home with my sweetie those memorable moments become a great setting for romance.Free Music Review: BRAVO!

I waited on this CD with baited breath and it didn't disappoint. I have listened to it multiple times in one night. I LOVE "I Believe in You"(duet with Celine Dion) and Isabel. I usually don't like every song on a CD. With this one, I enjoyed everyone to the point that I didn't even pay attention to time. Their voices are fantastic and when they hit the song full on, I'm blown away. Whether you're already a fan or just getting to know them...listen to this CD. I cannot help but wonder how can there be people with ultra-super-good looks can have ultra-super-sounding talent too. This is IL DIVO, and if you think they sound good on the cd wait until you hear them live. I had a mind blowing experience at their concert and these guys give their all to their fans, despite the heat of the summer in Dallas. I once questioned why Seb is with this group despite his pop voice, but let's not forget that this group was put together to create a pop/opera classical crossover sound, hello? So, 5 stars, nothing less!
