Free Music Review: Not Another Opera Band

The title seems negative, but not meant to be. In fact, I got myself a copy of the regular CD.
Sarah Brightman made the classical crossover genre popular and Amici (another opera band) made this "Opera Band" popular.
What got me what Il Divo's rendition of "Regressa Me" (Spelling?). If you have access to Applue ITunes, they have a full music video free to stream. That is how I had to get their album.
Besides the "Regressa Me," others tracks are melodious as well and quite strung together well in regard to coherent voices of the members of Il Divo.
Try it. If you are not satisfied, you can always try selling back on the Amazon.com Marketplace.

I bought the Il Divo UK edition before it was available in the US and was impressed by the genuine talent of it's members- which is why I was a bit confounded when reading a lot of the negative reviews on this site. Thankfully, I came across the May 22nd review by Emmanuel Chan "Responses to some unfounded (and uniformed) criticisms". Mr Chan does a great job at explaining the purpose/focus of the album and the differences of classical vocal technique. (Yup, it is about more than singing music in Latin, Italian & German written by long-dead composers....) If anyone is interested in some helpful insight, I highly suggest Mr. Chan's review, then kick back and turn on some Il Divo!Free Music Review: I'm obsessed with this music ( Popera)

While in Europe this winter, I kept hearing snippets of this album in gift shops and stores, and tracked down the fact that it was Il Divo. Searched everywhere for the CD, finally found it on AMazon.com.uk in February. These four beautiful voices blend so well. The music is soothing, sensual and soulful. The arrangements are lovely. Andrea Boccelli has taken a back seat since Il Divo came into my life. My friends are becoming addicted as well. As a bonus, LOOK AT Believe me, they sound even better. People have asked me what it is when I'm driving around blaring it in the car. And trust me, I'm no teenager. Buy it now! The best new thing in years. POP-ERA!!!!!!!!!Free Music Review: enchanting

This is a wonderful CD! I discovered this group when I recently attended a Barbara Streisand concert in Atlanta. These guys sang alone and with her, and they were magnificent! I think it's great that someone like Barbara Streisand, with all her talent and fame, helps promote newer artists. The CD is amazing, with beautiful music, close and thrilling harmony, and great warmth in the singing. The songs are sung in a variety of languages, as the guys in the group are from different countries. Once again, the language of music transcends our everyday situation, as the haunting melodies tell what some of us can't understand in certain songs. BUY THIS CD!!!Free Music Review: a winner!

My daughter and I were looking for some Christmas CD's and somehow came across Il Divo's Christmas Collection. I loved it and my husband got me this CD for my birthday. It is great. Four men who can sing. I am so tired of hearing (I won't say listening because I don't listen to it. I hear it when my son plays it.)the drivel that passes for music today. Josh Groban started me back to sanity and this CD finished it. I especially like Nella Fantasia. As soon as I heard it, I knew I had heard it before. I finally remembered it was on Celtic Woman. The songs are all good. I can listen to it over and over and I don't even speak Spanish or Italian!!
