Este cuarteto es simplemente fascinante. El primer cd que escuche de
ellos es este, y lo escuche y escuche sin cansarme, una y otra vez.
Y es que son fascinantes. Voces bellisimas y un dominio tremendo de
las voces, y por supuesto, un estilo totalmente unico.
Y donde ellos se la ganaron toda es con esa bellisima cancion Regresa a mi, donde, tanto David como Carlos se destacan sobre los demas insinuando
se como dos verdaderos divos del canto.
Passera es lindisima, y aqui escuchamos a Urs fuerte y bello, y a Sebas
tien simplemente sexy.
Lo recomiendo muchas veces.

The first time I saw IL DIVO was in the OPRAH show. I'll never forget that first song they sang. It was Unbreak My Heart and I couldn't believe my eyes or ears. I don't think I ever heard anything so beautiful. I had to wait a long time to purchase the CD in Montreal, but it was worth the wait. I also bought their 2nd CD and their DVD and now I'll be seeing them at the Bell Center on February 8th. Can't wait. This group appeals to all ages. I think 5 stars are not sufficient for them. I also believe that people that write negative reviews about them are simply jealous or they don't know what they're talking about.Free Music Review: Great voices that blend so well!

I love this group! These are four fine, totally gifted, men who know how to use their talent at its best. Their voices complement each other very well, blending as one, wonderfully. I think they will continue to produce many complementary CD's. I am looking forward to the release of their video as well.
Yes, they do sound a bit operaish, but isn't that the point? I think it's being labeled classis pop, so if you are simply looking for pop maybe you should think twice before you buy this CD. One needs to also appreciate good opera as well in order to appreciate the talent in Il Divo.

This is the greatest, loveliest "bad music" I've ever heard. The Swiss guy has the best voice, the Frenchman, the lesser. "Il Divo" is great, creamy, sexy, enticing, and romantic!!!! The "Encore" is flat, banal, no big deal.
These guys, who have great Broadway/musical voices, are best when they're trying to seduce us (women). Their first album makes me so happy when I listen. Any woman in the world would die and melt if a man sang to her like these guys do on this album.
For guys--buy the first album, give it to your honey, and if you play it on Friday night you're home free!

I have always liked pop music and even though I am 63, still enjoy groups like Outcast and Nelly. When I heard Il Divo for the first time, I absolutely adored the sound and look of the group. I tried to find the song, discovered it was in the Mexican section of music and sold out. My daughter surprised me with it for Mother's Day and I have played and played it ever since. My daughter said to me, "I never realized you were a fan of an opera sounding track"- me either. I love this CD, the boys voices are beautiful and just take a good hold of your heart. I love songs sung with passion and these boys have it.
