Finally their new album!! Now only if they would extend their tour to the West Coast of the US, I'd be in heaven. The first time through I liked it, but it wasn't until the second and third, and so on that now I am as obsessed as I was with the first two albums, which I listen to on my way to and from work as a de-stresser. Beautiful voices, especially David and Carlos. Of all the songs, the only one I don't thik is perfect is Amazing Grace. It is a little over the top with the "belting out" after the bag pipes, then back to more reserved, almost like two differnt songs. I agree, with some others that album #3 Siempre wasn't great, except for "Somewhere". Their Christmas album is a must have! Very beautiful. Il Divo's "The Promise" I found to be the most soothing and uplifting music for my ears! I loved "The Power of Love" and "Hallelujah" even though most of the songs on "The Promise" are in Spanish it was still very beautiful to listen to. On the deluxe edition of "The Promise" you can pop the cd into your DVD player for three special features! If your a fan of any kind of opera you will love this very talented operatic quartet!
The Christmas Collection by Il Divo is a collection of the most popular Christmas songs all sung in perfect harmony, simply beautiful and moving! My favorites were "O Holy Night", "White Christmas" and "Silent Night". Their beautiful vocals will instantly put you in a joyful mood this Holiday Season!

After receiving the gift of IL Divo's newest cd "The Promise" I couldn't wait to share how moved I was by their powerful voices. Listening to "The
Power of Love" and all the way through to their rendition of "Amazing Grace" I wanted to hear more! I felt they had the voices of angels and I couldn't stop the tears from flowing that came during the bagpipes in the last hymn. I think I was more amazed at my reaction because I have always been a classic rock fan but if you are not touched by these fine lads from
different countries than you must be made of stone! Don't short change yourself...Go out and get a copy today!

This is a magnificent group of singers in great voice. The selection of songs and the language they are sung in is designed to show this group's range and abilities. With the exception of "Amazing Grace", this is not a sing along CD. This is akin to an opera CD, you do not expect to understand the words but you will enjoy the music and be astounded by the voices. A word about "Amazing Grace", this is one of the best versions available. Alone, it is worth the price of the CD. The DVD is a nice but not required item. The Boys are back with a new CD called The Promise. This CD is a "Promise Kept" of great new songs that are sung with Il Divo perfection. The music is on this CD is also outstanding.Carlos, Urs, David , Sebby, you are all truly gifted singers. My favorites include La Promessaa,Hallelujah,Enamorado She. The Deluxe edition has two songs performed Live,The Power of Love,Hallelujah and a Interveiw with the Boys. A great new CD to relax and get swept away with. A great collection of songs there is no "weak song" on the Promise. The best CD of 2008.
