Free Music Notes for Instant Karma: The Amnesty International Campaign to Save DarfurFree Music Review: Splendid covers of John Lennon's songs Hit: 5 Stars
This is the second copy of "Instant Karma, Save Darfur" I have purchased. I was hesitant to buy the first copy thinking the covers would be disappointing. I bought it anyway because the purchase benefits Amnesty International. I'm so happy I did. I gave the first copy to a friend and got a second copy for myself. Each song is a revelation. Absolutely superb!
Free Music Review: What a pleasant mix! Hit: 5 Stars
I understood that this was a charity project for Darfur with various artists recording the songs of John Lennon, but I had no idea it would be so good! Dare I say that some of the renditions are even better than the original? While I can't say which is my favorite, this disc would certainly be an asset to any collection, John Lennon fan or not!
Free Music Review: Absolutely Wonderful Hit: 5 Stars
For all of the horrors that are being perpetrated in Darfur, at least by bnying these products, such as CDS, tshirts, etc you got to know you are actually doing something!
Moreover, how could anyone really hate Lennon, he's wonderful, absolutely mesmerizing and besides we all saving the world, don't we?
Free Music Review: Serendipitous Tracks Hit: 5 Stars
I bought this CD because I wanted to listen to Jack Johnson's rendition of Imagine. And it is marvelous!
But...
There turned out to be even a better reason to buy this CD: Regina Spektor
Spektor's singing of Real Love demanded my attention to find out who this artist is. Wow.
Free Music Review: Fantastic Lennon Covers for a Good Cause! Hit: 5 Stars
This collection of covers of the music of John Lennon is a fund-raiser for Darfur, so that should be enough reason to buy it. The great news is that the music is absolutely terrific! The fantastic cover of "Working Class Hero" by GreenDay is worth the price alone. Buy it today!
